I went to an inn labeled 'weak" but the quest for the alchemy spell sent me to a ruin labeled "medium". I haven't actually gone to the ruin yet because I got caught up fighting some monsters and building cities.

exiting and restarting the game helps me as it doesn't happen to me very often.
How about adding carriage returns/newlines to spaces for city names with 2 (or more) words in them? So Keeran's Hold would be Keeran's Hold ?
Well not too sure, only really saw unit upgrading work when I created a custom unit with "Pick best Spears and/or Armour" option, but given I had the crystals and metal and gildar, I was able to upgrade my units several times... Or I am just confusing stuff up. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Sounds right to me. You have to set your unit's equipment upgrade-able at design, selecting the "best available" option with the grey o
I felt the same at the beginning and it just takes time to get comfortable, find your play style, and try to get ahead of the AI and stay ahead. I do hear you about the "feast-or-famine" in terms of settlement tiles. I've been playing on temperate or swamp maps lately because there seem to be more potential settlements for everyone. though some factions will still pull ahead. I suspect that since "balanced" maps mix terrain types, some starting areas will be better tha
The thing is I think most folks would prefer 1 powerful city to out-produce 3 weak cities. I'd like to see the minimum building time be level based, maybe level 3-4 cities cut it to 2 and level 5 cut it to 1?
interesting.
no matter what background you pick for a custom sovereign, they still end up standing in Lord Relias's overgrown yard.

Maybe Ceresa should use bound penguins.
I would also like to be able to check out my city before I decide how to level it. Maybe allow us to defer leveling?
It would be very convenient if I could just hit the "B" button to build on a resource I've clicked on, like mines, shards, and such.

you had me at hearing the lamentations of their women (but also after that).
well played, sir.
If by empire tree you mean the list of units, cities, quests it does scroll but it's not taking into account the box that shows town or unit information and the box and the list overlap (list behind box).
doesn't scroll at all for me, which is also weird.
was it the "least common denominator" spell. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. [e digicons][/e]

I always knew paying close attention to punctuation mattered, but now that we know it's used in "Summon Developer", we'll pay extra special attention. Guess we'll just have to cast "Move Time Forward by 1 Week". How much punctuation is required for that?????1! (see what I did there?)
just kee
yes, I meant custom faction.
I can't seem to change map color when creating a custom sovereign faction. It brings up the color palette when I click on it but it doesn't change in the preview with all of the other colors.

There used to be a spider-riding lady called Nosmia and she had a bug (no pun intended) where she would regenerate after death and keep coming back. Then I would kill her again for experience. It was a thing we had. I haven't seen her in-game recently though. Hope she

Yes, it would be nice if the empire tree scrolled.
I just created a bunch of sovereigns to find out. It's the "Enchanters" faction trait. It's even dependent on your faction color so mine was baby-puke green.
