Wasn't Gamestop evil? It's too early in the morning for me to process info, but would this mean that at some point Ubisoft and EA will remove the region restrictions for their games?

I use a BenQ x900 monitor, but seeing the diagonals you people are mentioning, I'll just crawl into a corner and pretend 19" is as large as it was back when I had a 14" display.

League of Legends is free, there's no monthly fee.

I used to play it quite a lot until my old video card fried while in League of Legends( my advice, don't ramp up the detail, it will murder your top of the line card, no joke, keep the settings low). I especially loved the variety of the classes and they way they could be used to work with each other. I kinda hated the really cheap classes, like the ones that have near permanent stun. But they've probably balanced the classes over the last year a lot better. In

I can vouch for that. Every time I'm sleep deprived I think the shows I make are Oscar material... if interent things had the Oscars. In the morning though, they are somewhat stale.

Well, there's another good reason I blacklisted anything facebook related on Opera. That and the fact that for some reason anything related to it, even the slightest, took ages to load. And that's weird, I usually have a good connection with the US, the only area where them bits start crawling trough the mud is certain parts of Asia... wait... Oh My God! That explains everything. Well, maybe not, but still, it's an interesting tidbit to know.

You're right, there was Maze War. What I should have said was that there were first person RPG games before the First Person Shooter genre was defined as it is today. I would also like the setting you mentioned, mostly because if it were set after the war with the titans, it would be a post apocalyptic fantasy game, and then it would clash with Age of Decadence.

Wasteland with modern graphics would be Fallout, seeing as how Fallout would have been Wasteland 2 if Interplay had retained the rights to the name. Although I can understand wanting an RPG with a top down perspective, RPGs with first person perspective existed long before the shooter was invented. As for the Stardock RPG, if you ever get around to it, my thoughts: Look at Bioware, go in the other direction.

Actually you can point your ship at a planet and go there, but the distance is very big in space, so they use jump gates. In X2 I've crashed my Argon Discoverer into Argon Prime(the planet), even with SETA it took a long time to get to it, and all I did was burn up and explode in the atmosphere. Travel between systems without jump gates, even with maximum SETA, could take months in real time, so count yourself fortunate they have jumpgate and jumpdrives.

Although the initiative is admirable, I would have started with: "Europe, one release date for all." Seriously, from the time Grey Matter(in perfect English) was available in Germany, to when I got it from someone who could buy of German Amazon(it think that's what it was), to when the exact same version was released in the rest of Europe, to when it was released on digital distribution(it's on sale on Impulse if you want a very good adventure), between all these, the game had

Reply to Crysis 2 in PC Gaming

I tried the MP demo on my old PC. They weren't exactly correct about it having lower system requirements than the first Crysis, but it runs on a 5 year old PC that won't even fit in the minimum system requirements. Not very well, but it is playable on something most games released in 2010 won't run. The first game ran at 20-50 f/s on medium on it. Not having accurate control from the interface regarding the graphics settings seems a bit counterproductive. I would have very much lo

I've been using Opera since I got a dedicated internet connection. It's had it's ups and downs, sharp computability drop after version 10.10(or .20), got a lot better afterwards. The previous build(not the current beta) is stable and reliable. The current beta for 11.11 has a bunch of computability issues with websites. What I like most about Opera is the keyboard commands, it makes everything a lot faster. I use it a lot for work, and trust me when I say, that if you ever work with a

The trait/level concept was what I liked most in Age of Wonders, really looking forward to seeing it in Elemental. [e digicons][/e]

I'm liking the concepts, especially Ignys and that demon behind the ritualist. Will that be the same type of demon used for the Shadow World spell?

I didn't see Opera in there. Hmm, not being compatible with a big chunk of the internet seems to do wonders for it's security [e digicons][/e] Kiddin', it's a lot more compatible these days, and doesn't even crash on me when I switch tabs since the last update, which was a feature that was added by the update before that one. The rotten part about upgrading to W7, aside from hardware, is the fact that I'll have to retool everything I have. I'm not re

Well, considering that regardless of what faction I play, I end up invoking volcanoes and murdering everyone that can be murdered, I really don't see the good vs evil. And I wouldn't call what I do evil... excessive maybe... ridiculously fun, but not consistently evil. Lore wise, I've not actually finished Book 1 yet. [e digicons]:pout:[/e]

Eh, the 2GB limit isn't a problem for me, since the blue eyed monster's motherboard wet poof after months of storage, I'm gonna be 1GB'it for a while. Out of curiosity, to what extent can virtual memory be used to compensate for a lack of RAM?

In terms of guns, I'd recommend SWAT 4, each weapon has it's own personality, and you can shoot trough doors and windows. In multiplayer it can be tons of fun.

I've encountered the same problem. https://forums.elementalgame.com/404570 Although mine ended in a VPU enforced card reset.

I thought I'd give Elemental another go on my old PC before moving on, so I installed 1.19. I noticed that the game moved a bit sluggish from screen to screen, right from the menu, in the character creation and so forth. In the game, it ran normally, until something new appeared on the screen, like a pop-up, or a area of influence expansion. This was a bit odd, since I run the game in the cloth map mode. Then the screen went blank(i run it in a window), the video card reset, and the A
