A very good idea, not only will the game have more development time and mode player feedback, but I'll actually get a chance to pre-order it . I'm going to gat payd again in december [e digicons]:dur:[/e]

The town in the first screenshot drew my attention the most. It looks so serene, so peacefull, so prosperous, so unguarded, it's just begging for a spell of mass city devastation or an invading army. This may sound like the ranting of a dreadfull person who played evil characters in strategy games, but is there any chance of being able to poison that large pond? Also, those canvas things in the corners, are they by any chance outdoor theaters? And can they be poisoned? [
I love this, it fits perfectly with my prefered tactic from Master of Magic. Getting one guy armed with so much magic equipment that he lights up like a christmas tree, and sending him to take out legions. [e digicons]:smitten:[/e]
It looks great. Too bad I won't be able to preorder it to get into the beta(unpayed salaries, gotta love'm), but next year I'm going to be all over it [e digicons]:dur:[/e]
Terraforming spells would be sweet. I fondly remember the old MoM exploit with the volcano that allowed the transformation of tundra squares into plains. Magical harrasment spells would also be fun, things like Counter spell that countered an oponents spell as he was casting it. Chaos channels was also amusing, I used to have fun with it until I figured out that my pimped out legions couldn't enter towns with Chaos ward :\
