Also for those so inclined, I'm thinking of starting another MP game for those around these forums. 7 players, probably MA (definitely not LA). Noobs more than welcome, anyone more than welcome. Just understand that the game would be more for casual play rather than competitive play. Meaning? If you plan on playing a rush nation and rushing someone, don't sign up ;)

Yep, it was on sale a couple weeks back, guess you missed it :(
If your troops are bored I have some Death Gems you could... *acquire*. Reasonable prices. Oh yes. Quite reasonable. Final disposition of said gems is up to you, we don't do any preprocessing.
*** so you need an extension through Thursday?*** Well someone has to take out the trash. Ulm keeps their lands nice and clean though, no trash at all, we recycle everything! No need to come looking around here for any trash. No sir. Not at all.
War, Uhh. What is it good for! Absolutely nothing! Uhhh.... Man, that Tim is having some issues getting that deed out.
The Ulm scout network sends news that the world is quickly losing it's stock of independent provinces. The oracles in their caves forewarned of this time. It will be a time of great deeds, and not so great deeds, and some mediocre deeds, as well as a few deeds which no one want to talk about because they upset the children. There will be deeds of valor and deeds of cowardice, deeds from the sky, deeds from the seas, and even deeds from a tree named Carl. Oh yes.&nb
Ulm would like to remind the nations of this world that with the coming conflicts (which our immense scout network is positioned to observe) the need for more and better armaments is gong to become paramount. At this juncture Ulm is still willing to deal with anyone, however, those who have already engaged in commerce and diplomacy with Ulm will be placed higher on the list. Ulm now has the capacity to forge Dwarven Hammers. Surely there is going to be an im
So i will delay the game starting sunday. Everyone can get the next 2 turns in? Sorry to hear about a funeral, those are rarely any fun :(
Oh of course. I would caution against using them as suppositories however.
Ulm once again is interested in acquiring Air gems. If you have some to spare please contact us. We can offer various forgings or Earth, Death, or Nature gems in exchange for them.
http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2011/07/wildfire_threatens_nuclear_fac.html Some pictures of the town I live in, and the fire which caused an evacuation (not of me fortunately). I think some scouts reported Abysian blood hunters up in the mountains... so beware everyone :)
Yeah... This turn was still at 72h, when this turn is done the timer will move back to 25h (I give you all an extra hour because I'm so nice ;) ) The pace should be a bit quicker up til ~turn 25, then we can discuss moving to 48h or whatever works for folks.
I hope the C'tisian minister responsible for communication understands what 'remove me from the tally' means to most human nations... ;)
It does seem as though those heat loving nations are having the most issues with this so called 'death dust'. I think there's a lesson there for everyone. Perhaps it is what has fueled their superior expansion. Like HGH or PEDs... Where's the Warren commission when you need 'em? In other news, a few folks did make it to the IRC, letting us all plot against everyone who didn't make it.
Ulm invites one and all to meet at the gamesurge irc chat. These discussions are clearly important enough to be held 'face to face'. http://gamesurge.net/chat/ Enter your name. type: /join #dominions type: /join #dotm [or use whatever IRC client you prefer, the one above is web based so everyone should be able to use it wit
The Smurfette suggests we just kill all the death gems, and be done with it.
A wise position. This is Ulms position as well. But we need skilled smiths to destroy them, and we need verification. Ulm is willing to allow any cold tolerant nation to send observers to the destruction site. We all know this process is much safer in cold climates. Too much heat and the gems
If Ulms suggestion is accepted then there is no need to actually ban the dust, as it will be unobtainable anyway. In any case, our research smiths have shown that mere physical contact with the gems is enough to obtain what is being referred to as a 'surface high' [Internal Report TH: D3gemr5.4], and banning the dust does not take the matter far enough. No, segregation of the gems is what is called for here, and only the nation with the most experience in
An interesting proposal. Ulm would like to make the following offer. Our smiths being well versed in the safe handling and conversion of gems of all natures are willing to accept all banned death gems into their safe keeping. So send these dangerous gems to Ulm, a special safe has already been forged from pure earth, fire, and nature gems to contain them. All will be well, safely housed, and destroyed. Ulm pledge
Baring any other kind of journalism I'm not sure that I can not take it seriously ;) One thing is clear, the rainbow convention is going to be held really soon. Come and have fun!
Actually just looked at the turn list and all are in now but Niefelheim,so another turn will generate once that player turn is sent in. Then we are on hiatus until Sunday. I now see three of my neighbors and have a fair idea of where 2 more are at. On a side note speaking for Dom3 mechanics: hypothetically if you capture a province that can recruit Hvy Cav....but the resources produced "each tu
Cool. Tacked on some more time for ya. Now that people should be meeting each other... not a bad time to get some diplo in. Well other than with bp i guess ;)
No problem on getting in turns. Everyone is on their own schedule, no need to even reply if people question it, not that I took it as a complaint ;) I will tack on another 48h after this turn comes in, so that should cover us. Then it will go back to 24. This is a casual game, or intended to be that. No one should be stressing about it, so long as you give notice all is cool. Now... S
Quoting Tophat1812, reply 284Interesting that there is a noticeable lack of table talk. In my case, I've just been having a tough time of it. I kept revising my pretender before the server went down because I just couldn't settle on a loadout I was happy with. I realized after the game started (turn 3 or 4) that I wasn't playing with the set-up I thought I was, and had more or less wasted the opening turns So now
Ok, patch and submit turn 7 with 3.27 please.
It will accept your turn though when it comes up so don't worry. I already postponed hosting by 48h so everything should be ok if it takes a day to get it sorted.
