Not a big problem, but is confusing. The 1.0 install includes a forced uninstall to prevent any beta bleed-through. Disabling the keys was a one-time temporary measure to prevent unintended early access to the final testing/review builds since they had to go up in the same place, so the uninstall flag (which was a preexisting option for when we post updates) really is not designed to take into account that a registration might be
The easiest explanation is that you won't be finding or recruiting Dragons in "every" game of Elemental you play. As far as I know, Dragons are planned to be "Rare and Powerful" beings in Elemental. This means you may play 20 or 30 games on the largest map possible and only see 1 Dragon the entire time. If they Are that "rare" then getting one and being able to steam roll the map with it isn't really that big of a deal. Having used one in the beta as well I can say they are o
Probably a side effect of the disabling. You can contact support if you want to be sure but I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point.
Okydoke. Might want to tell the support guys to disregard those emails then. I sent them before I made the post here. Thanks again Kryo.
is it better than Kickass?
Ohhh that's a tough question. I thought both the movies "Kicked Ass" (pun pun pun) but I think I'd have to give the edge to Kick Ass because it was a super hero flick. Scott Pilgrim had a lot of old school video game nostalgia though so it's really a hard choice. Scott Pilgrim even has music from Zelda in the movie. Makes me wonder what Nintendo's cut was on royalties for this movie. </
The keys were disabled with the end of the beta. They should be back when we re-enable them for launch.
Ahh okydoke. I kinda guessed that's what was going on but I didn't think they'd be dissabled in the automated mail too. Thanks Kryo :) Good looking out man. Any idea why my order history is only showing the purchase of the Limited Edition Upgrade and not when I ordered the original?
I'm a little confused on my serial key I'll be using on download/release day. I used Impulse to have it send me my purchase record and serial keys and it only shows my purchase of the Elemental Limited Upgrade and not my original purchase of Elemental. For the upgrade it says "No Serial Needed" in the email I received. Luckily I have two hard copies of my order number and serial key I received when I first pre-ordered (which I put in Impulse to download the beta way back when). Basically I'm
I'm going to miss all the intelligent conversations (arguments) and the interesting debates (the fights). It's been a good ride this last year and a half. I count myself lucky to have been a part of it and to have made such good friends as Wintersong, Joasoze, MagicWillNZ and everyone else. The ride ain't over yet though folks!!! Here's to the years sure to follow full of Expansions, Mods, and plenty of New Ideas for me to keep track of. Cheers everyone. Smoke em if you got em [e digi
They're probably just getting ready for this weekend and ready to preload things to people to lessen the load on the servers. Most likely when/if they enable in on Sunday night that's when everyone's keys will work and downloading will begin. Unless of course maybe they're going to surprise us and give it to us even earlier in which case you just let the cat out of the bag, but I doubt that's it..lol.
Yeah, updating is disabled while they get the release set up. Your registration will start functioning again when they turn it back on
And when they turn it back on...it will be GO TIME!!! Yeah!!!
When you get a "Book" in Elemental you don't automatically learn every spell in it. What you get is the availability to "research" all the spells in the book. So you still have to learn the individual spells. :)

If a dishonest person works there do you think they'd mail it to you if that happened? Or would th
