Or are there any Elemental gaming fan news sites up that would get in on this? Thanks.
I'll be saving Large Chunks of it. Any Time he talks about modifying XML I'll be copying that part of the text for making a rough draft modding guide hopefully with the answers to a Lot of specific
Indeed, my friend. With Frogboy expressing interest in a "Wizard Duel" mode I thought it would be a good idea to bring this up now. If something like this was done and handled right it could even branch off into it's own game/IP. You know how popular card gam
I always wanted to try that campaign out, but didn't have $ when it came out or the group to support it. I do agree with several posters here that kids today don't know what their missing from classic RPGs and table top mini games like Battletech. Today it's all card games or 8-10 hour video games. Even the video games today have so little creativity and imagination anymore. Thank GOD for Stardock because Elemental appea
Through his great powers of Necromancy, the Dark Lord Raven Xavier commands this Ancient Post to Rise and Live Again!!! Mwhahahaha!!! Dragonlance, yeap, there's a Mod being made for that you know ;)
Excellent :), my only worry is I won't have a complete understanding of all the questions I'll be wanting to ask about the code. Don't think that will let you off the hook though ;) Also, here's a Multi-Player Idea I thought you'd enjoy. It's on Wizard Duels. <a href="https://forums.elementalgame.com/391097
I'll be there with plenty of modding questions, chief....Oh you're going to regret this one :P Bring your XML notes ;)
From: https://forums.elementalgame.com/374531 How do I get divorced? Your Sovereign can get "divorced" by sending the spouse, without any equipment or bodyguards, to the nearest and strongest monster or enemy army available. Seriously. How do I get married a second/third/fourth... time or stablish my own harem? In a mod, if anyone makes one about it. (Elemental: War of Bedrooms?) <b
Imagine a world where you log on a server and wander, fighting other Wizards/Sovereign's ala "Magic the Gathering" style. In this world you could trade spell cards with other Wizards, or you fight them. Maybe you could team up with a like minded Wizard and fight pairs of enemy Wizards. In this world the player wouldn't be building cities. Instead they could visit a main city and talk with other Wizards (a no PvP zone) to trade. Out on the map though Wizards fight. Their spells are the spell c
Thank you all for the support today. It's not even launch day and the sales we're seeing are.... awe-inspiring. I'm starting to gain hope that we just might be able to finish this game. The whole thing. All of it -- everything on the backburner included. Today alone we've already made 133 sales so far. It's absolutely madness and I can't even count the sales we're making on Impulse yet ... I am embarrassingly humbled

Over the last year and a half finding unique and interesting ways to keep the game interesting in mid/late game has been something that has come up again and again here. Many peo
Well they said there would be rare stuff, they didn't say they would be super powerful and let you "start stomping everything on the map". There are plenty of rare and interesting events in Galactic Civilizations, but while they might cause you to change your gameplay, they generally don't cause you to win or lose because of one thing. Or perhaps they have mastered cryogenic technology, or perhaps their biological make-up could allow them to easily free
I'd really like to see a good Starship Simulator as well. Something that puts you in command of a massive battlecruiser or space carrier that launches wings of fighters. Some day hopefully developers will realize not All Gamers are 12 year olds who can't comprehend complex games and strategies. It all comes down to what they think the market (being the public that buys games) is interested in and most developers these days want an instant return on their investment. They want to make games th
Will it be possible for some faction rulers to have Multiple Spouses? It's a common fact in real life that there are Many cultures now and throughout history that have supported polygamy. Sultans in Middle East have and had multiple wives. Even most of the men in the Bible have/had multiple wives. This is a Fact that is often over-looked by Western Cultures. Seeing as how Elemental is a "Fantasy Game" I don't honestly see why it should be limited to having every culture in the game ha

If there are aliens capable of coming here they " could" be coming here for reasons we couldn't possibly fathom. Perhaps they need part of the genetic code from something we have on our planet that they don't h

I have seen these mesages a lot in beta but never found any evidence that these messages meant something.
They are actually let loose in the lands, yes. It's hard to tell though because the messages aren't specific about what creatures were set free by name so you don't re
I think Frogboy and the Team has done a pretty good job of keeping us informed and clearing up the confusion. Kryo was "johnny on the spot" last night when I posted about not seeing my "purchases" through my automail with Impulse. I already knew the keys were disabled and was just wondering why I didn't see a purchase history and I got paranoid for a minute. Kryo fixed it by answering within minutes and waylaying my fears that my original purchase was somehow overlooked. My post wasn't locked

If the reviewers are getting the gold version today though I don't really see why the beta testers can't get it. Honestly,
