Hopefully this has't been mentioned in other places and I just missed it - Until this journal there were 6 fallen and 6 man factions - why the change to 5 each? Making room for custom factions on each side? Just curious. Precisely. We decided to reserve the art assets for the other two factions as assets that players can use for custom factions.
That's awesome Frogster.

Also, I finished the game this morning. Awesome ending. The last thing you see are the words..."To Be Continued" so I think there might be a sequell in the works which is weird how there could be.
Real Neanderthals didn't eat THAT much meat. Sure they were hunters but it's not like they were able to kill something every night or even every week. For a more accurate example of what their diet might have been like I would suggest a study of Native American diets prior to their contact with Europeans. Sure they ate lots of meat but not every day. They ate a lot of vegetables and fruits and dried fruits and cornmeal as well as wild game. The article gives the impression these guys

That pic of what I'm assuming is a Fallen Warrior of some type is just wickedly awesome. The months just seem to be flying by lately too. Lets hope this summer isn't one of those summers that just drags on and on and on.
Geth would be a bad choice : Mass Effect already used that name a lot for their bad guys.
Hmm, you know, I actually didn't realize that. Damn, I thought I was being original...lol.
Anyone here who's in the Beta and also a member on Gamespot should take part in the conversation about the game going on in the "Comments" below that article. A lot of people I've seen post aren't sure what to make of Elemental and aren't sure it'll capture that "MoM" feeling. I've been defending Elemental and I know a few people will now be picking up the game because of one of my comments. They're dying to hear from people who are in the Beta now.
Wizard Customization Item Construction and Customization Random Maps being generated for every game Having Two Full Worlds to Conquer (Magical plane of existence to explore and conquer after the primary) Having Cities of Different Races controlled by the same Empire (this allowed you to mix and match races in armies) Spell Book Customization (play two games and chances are you'll have different spells then you did in the first game)</li
Is there any impact on the breedability ? Can a fallen breed with a human ? Can someone from a kingdom breed with someone from an Empire ? Anything else ? Or is it just some fluff ?
I would hope that even by nature Kingdom and Empire may be enemies, the diplomacy would be open enough that you could befriend anyone of any faction so long as you work hard enough at it and bribe them s
Haha Raven - as much as id like to take credit for all these beautiful concepts, they're actually all done by my boyfriend, the uber talented Leo Li :} (This guy > http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u102/kayfedewa/leo.jpg ) Right now I've been doing a lot of icons for the cloth map, inventory items, spell icons and a bit of texture work. Really enjoying myself here. It's the greatest job!
</p
This sounds awesome too. I can't wait to see what kinds of custom races we can make. What about Dragon-Men or Draconians? Will we be able to make flying races?
Sounds fascinating. What about a custom spell editor so players can make their own spells either by having the Editor separate from the game or working it into the game. This would be a awesome touch :) .
Yay for boxes. :) Looking awesome.
Quoting Raven X, reply 35 Kay, is this some of your work? If so, it's looking awesome If not, IT SUCKS! (That's the way I read that statement anyway)
lol No Kellen, that's not how I ment it at all. The pics are pretty awesome no matter who drew them. I was only asking Kay if these were hers because they are a good bit removed from her other work which is still awesome
Wish it was a PC game...
I was hoping they were going to port this one over but I haven't heard of anything in the works on that. That's why I bought a X-Box360. I've had a Wii since they came out. With my 360, Wii, and PC, I get any major title I want except maybe some PS3 exclusives. I'm considering getting a PS3 when income taxes come in but I'm not sure *shrug*, I pretty much have all the gaming hard-ware I need. I
Kay, is this some of your work? If so, it's looking awesome [e digicons][/e]
I know this isn't a "PC" game, but I wanted to talk about it anyway. I rented this the night before last and I gotta say this game is F*&^ING Amazing!!! I don't really get into button mashing action games very much either but this one just has a awe-inspiring appeal to it. If you've ever read or heard of "The Divine Comedy" then you know the tale of Dante. The game takes some liberties with the story but the over-all concept is there and the very descriptive nature of Hell is put front an
Well done Winter, you make me proud brother ;)
The ones shown above aren't specific to any environment. But there are creatures that are specific to environments but they don't tend to be Fallen creatures as they were bred explicitly not to be stuck to an environment. But for instance: This non-Fallen (natural creature of Elemental) appears only in swamp areas. Incidentally, it has not been named yet so feel free to suggest names. <br

Any chance of doing another one for a digital copy with virtual signatures?
That was clean :P . You don't want to see dirty. Besides it's all in what context you take it. That does sound like a plural of twitted. Either way in my book you're a "twit" if you twitter. All that service does is feed attent
If you've got some kind of "affliction" in a game there should ALWAYS be some kind of way to cure it. Not being able to break something like that is a plain out FLAW in game design. Whoever thought that up was a moron.
I'm on at @RavenXavier . Everyone feel free to "Friend" me :) . See you all in game.
Must resist urge to twat...er twit. lol

Most likely somebody will crack the game and release an unofficial version that needs no internet to play. Before the official version is released. Some true sales will then be lost to people who would buy the game but don't like the restrictions.
Ding Ding Ding, we have a Winner. I love Ubisoft games but this new secur
