I got Dark Void for the PC last night. I started playing at about 3 AM. I was starting to get a little tired so I told my-self "I"ll just try it out and start a Real game tomorrow.". The next thing I know it's after 8 AM. For a action game this game is fun as hell. It really is Awesome. If you're curious about the game I'd say at least rent it for a console and give it a try. It's really, Really fun. The flying is awesome, the shooting and cover mechanics are well done, honestly I'm having pr

Annatar11 ....LoL. I see you caught where I was going with that name. My Klingon's ship has a interesting name too but I don't think I'll repete it here on the forums hehe. Also, next time you need a face palm, try this one :) ............................................_____
The game was announced in July 2008, and the game feels pretty rushed. I heard that the reason the level cap is 16 is because they hadn't finished the upper levels. Klingons seemed broken to me, and the lag got pretty unbearable (I can understand lag the first day or two, but a few days after is unacceptable). And yes, the game was fun... for the first 3 days. Then it got stale and I realized just how repetitive it was. May

I'll add the new ones this evening my friend, no worries.
It's one huge server guys, no worries there. There's a million instances though but you can travel to other ones as long as they aren't full. I'm in open beta now, all pre-ordered and just waiting for Head Start. I'm unsure if I'm going to start a chapter of my long time gaming guild "Dark Chivalry" in ST: O or not. If I don't maybe I'll help out your Impulse group. I will Not be a flying Impulse add :P . My Fed character is "Raven Xavier" and my Klingon is "Har 'D Kock". Catch you guys in ga
LoL nice Kellen, well done. :)
I foresee people complaining that they can onlyplay the good guy and that there is only one ending.
That's the only thing that worries me about scripted stories. Hopefully their story will be open ended or at least have a "good guy" ending and a "bad guy" ending while still telling the tale of the world of Elemental.

Sign me up :)
Multiplayer is gonna rock :) Well done Stardock.
If any friends off the Elemental site here would like to join me in ST:O after launch I'll post what server I'm on. There's only going to be one server. Cryptic goes heavier on instanced zones rather than multiple servers. It's a bit less immersive for some, but there's something to be said for not having to worry about what server someone's on.
One server? Are you sure? I haven't seen anything about
/Jealous Did the pre-order, but no Beta Key came in the Email from Impulse. Good luck Commander!
I went with Amazon US so I could get the Borg Bridge Officer. I hear Amazon UK is out of Beta Keys and if you didn't pre-order from them by Jan 7th you were not guaranteed a key. Amazon US had no such restriction that I saw. I was worried however that I might not get a Open Beta key so I called their customer
For those of you who are interested the Star Trek Online Open Beta starts tomorrow. I've already done my pre=order and I have my open beta key. Even though it is "Open Beta" everyone will Not be getting a key. All pre-orders get a key first, then whatever's left will be given out on a "first come first served" basis. I know, that doesn't sound like a "Open Beta" to me either if they're limiting the keys available to non pre-orders. Still, it's worth a try if your wanting to play it if you're
Save the pic to your PC then enhance it and increase the size. It looks like a Sov standing on a rock with a army trying to kill a demon. Good stuff Brad :)
Haha, good stuff.
Someone over at the STO forums pointed this out. It's so sexist it's funny. God help the poor women if men like this truly exist, though I have to admit when I was 14 this could have been my theme song lol. </
Dragon Age: Origins, Dragonball: Raging Blast, Armada 2526, Guitar Hero 5, and of course the Elemental Beta. :)
So Christmas this year was pretty good for me. It was much better then what I thought it would be initially. Things are really tight here with money so I didn't expect too much. I certainly didn't expect anything expensive. Well, what I "expected" and what I got were two totally different things. The main thing I wanted for X-Mas I got early, it was Dragon Age: Origins. In-fact I told my wife and her parents not to worry about getting me anything else. The only other small thing I wanted was

Updated 1/2/10, all new ideas added Hope everyone had a great Holliday break.
I think Tech Trading was handled just fine in Gal Civ 2 and it's expansions. The option to trade techs if you want should never be dissabled totally as it diminishes the diplomatic game a great deal Imo. Diplomacy has a hard enough time as it is being fun, don't limit it.
Sounds like a awesome break my friend, glad you enjoyed it. I'm not a father yet, but being a great father at Christmas time is one of the aspects of raising a family I'm greatly looking forward to.
So there's another game coming out next year that seems to have a few of the elements of Elemental. It's more RTS then Elemental but it has some of the same aspects. Looks interesting. It's called Dawn of Fantasy. Check it out Here .
