I deleted my fb account after my fiasco with the Trojan. Actually, fb would not allow me to delete my account -but only make it inactive for a time. At the end of the wait / inactive period, IF I haven't logged back on, THEN the account will be deleted. However, since I suspended my acount - waiting out the time until it is really deleted, i have received several generic emails from face book... LOL.
Actually, they probably DO get it. They just hope 'We' stop noticing so they can get on with mining and marketing all the data they have.
I am of the older generation that considers crude, vulgar language to be inappropriate in civil society. But then after a while, people actually do what they won't say. That's when, for me, I begin to wonder, if what I am writing is something I would not want my 8 year old son/daughter/neighbor to hear/see/read, than, perhaps, i should consider the possibility of revision what i intended to write. Don't get old....

I promised an update. here it is: I have played Distant Worlds / w expansion for about a week now. I had trouble, initially installing it. The maxim troubleshooting site has a link to an ms tool that 'cleans' the NET software. I ran that and Distant Worlds runs fine. As i mentioned, i am not a RTS fan. Dar, yes winter's descriptions were outdated. And thats not surprising given how often elemental is being changed with each patch, etc. What i intended to convey is that the info was/is very helpful in assisting someone totally new to elemental in getting a basic overview.
