I've been away for a year. Finally back on line. Retired - LOL. Medicare - oye. Anyway - my old rig is maxed out. Still can't run Witcher 3. Or oldrim... very well, or skyrim VR. So, looking at new PC. Research - its all very complicated now. (Or I've been out of the loop too long.) I'll also want to play the rainbow (Clancy) games. Never have - but the vids look good. I have about 1,000 - 1,500$ US available for a new gaming desktop PC. Prefer Nvidia. Want to run Witcher 3 with higher end graphics, heavily modded Skyrim (oldrim). Not sure I can really upgrade my current PC (i3, sabertooth, gtx 670 ftw). Would like to stay with win 7 (as 10 will probably soon be a monthly subscription revenue stream for MSoft). What would you do with this? Future upgrade paths considered. Appreciate community wisdom...

My PC, which was off line for about a month (problem with video feed, now fixed) now reports that my windows 7 is not authentic. A pop up appeared when I booted saying that there is an issue with my windows. (I ignored because many scammers send fake messages to philsh one. Also, tiny text message in lower right corner of screen saying windows installed in not authentic. This is bogus. Windows installed on PC is same one that been on all along - installed on ma

Ah, intentional Darwin award submission? (Seriously, very sad Rubin felt so bad, endured so much pain, that he felt suicide was only viable remedy. I'm sad at Rubin's decision.)

After reinstall sys not recognize yada. Spent about 6 hours on web sites, googling/binging, yada. Lost I am. I reinstalled this exact system several years ago with zero problems. Think I did exact same thing. Result different. Umm. C
