jarls are way too expensive.... i don't think i will hire many of them, except to guard my leaders.... they really are way to expensive... hire one a turn? not sure - the resources are (literally) out of this world. I'm looking for ways to get a decent dominion going without using very many jarls.... besides their 'blue' aura clashes with my pretrender's accessories. Hey, can I loan some jarls out

There seem to be a number of 'glitches' between the cloth map and the 3d map. abandoned villages sometimes show up on cloth - but are 'invisible' on 3d....

YEs, its different now. One thing to do, is take your first 'city' promotion and use it to get (a) 'guardian' unit(s).

Or, eliminate the one side moves / attacks / casts with all units, and then the other side moves/attacks/casts with all units. Replace it with a turn queue in which all units of both sides move/ attack / cast in a combioned sequence that is based on each unit (of whichever side) moving according to a preset rubric (combat speed, initiative, or what ever). Units that don't move /attack /cast get a bonus for def, or a reaction attack depending on type of unit.

Doc and A... you both want things to be better for people, even as you both seem to differ on the 'hows' and 'werefors.' I am glad there are people who are genuninely concerned about our welfare, our future as a people, as a species, and as a biosphere/planet. I came across this related PC/tech that might also help people with danaged limbs, etc.

Prefer EA (all experience is with it... LOL.) or 2nd choice, MA is OK. I read somewhere that LA has minimal magic... is so?

I'm very happy this technology is being developed, and may help many people increase their access to the world around them. I still can't help but contiinuing imagining what Dr Hawkins would have done had he had accesss to this new technology. How many others, who have been 'trapped' in their body's mal-functioning semi-cage will now have so much more freedom. And the benefits of the freedom will be just for the user - as some will make great contribution

Hi Teal Blue, Yes, I did get it working. I had to use a 'cleaning tool' on the NET software... then reinstall the game. NET has come out with several 'updates' since then... which I have declined to install, becuase I don't want to destabalize DW. I really enjoy the game, expecially since i can automate large portions of it. It and SwordStars are my fav games right now. I like building and creating in my games - kinda

What! Me worry? Yes, mixed bag here, and sometimes, some of us get passionate about things, but I can say that I have found most people here to be real people. This means that a bit of disfunction (seasonings on the tossed salad - a metephor for the forums, iof you please), are inevitable. Is OK by me... I, for one, have learned a great deal, even from "old" threads...

Awesome. B"H This offers such promise, and I am greatly encouraged. But, like all tools, care is necessary. A knife be used by a murderer to torture and kill people. But sharpened and used as a scapel, in the hands of a DOC, that same knife can help heal the wounded, ill, diseased, and damaged, even save lives. And this new tech seems to hold such promise to help so many people! Dr Stephen Hawking, oh to see what he might hav

A whipser is heard in all the courts of the world... rumors from beyond... subtle ... unnoticed by all but the most aware of sentients... The spirits of the Yomi Speak from beyond the grave...
