I expect the manual will be digital. If its kept current, re: patches, errata, etc., I would be most happy. While a glossy manual can be fun, (and I really enjoy the comfot of pages on paper rather than on a kindle, or PC or whatever) they add to the costs and the expense. I would rather a ** truly printer ready ** set of tables, unit comparisions, tech tree, etc. downloadable along with the manual.... And leave the lovely eye candy to the wall papers, etc. <

I agree with jacksmith.. dom3 has great potential. It just needs some balance tweeks. In the larger Dom3 community, there is a balance mod, that attempts to reduce some of the overpowering aspects of Areo.. Hinnom, and the ice giant nation. jack swift, et al, IF you are true newbies, and you would be interested in playing with the balance mod, and a house rule that puts home castles, and provinces adjacient to home castles off limits for say, 10 t

As much as I would love to have a downlaoder directly with SD, as a way to cut down (hopefully) the survailence built into gamestops's Impulse (ads, and interruptions from other sites has increased significantly since Impulse went from SD to gamestop), I would wonder two things 1) as above, concern about SD eneregies going into another distribtution platform being shyponed from resources currently directed to game development, and 2) would this new platform just become another

It does sound, kinda like DF. And I know of no way to change 'sides' (for lack of a better word) in DF, but I am so new to the game, I still cant tell most of the units from one another...

You like making me blush? So, what are the stats on this "malthus?" (Disclaimer: not so subtle attempt to get you to reveal stats so the other players will be better prepared to meet him on the field of battle.)

Dr guy, sorry, I guess i didn't get it as sarcasm... my bad. I agreed with what i thought you were saying, and i wanted to be intentional in expressing my thanks to you. (just cause I disgree with you elsewhere doesn't mean I always disagree with you... nor does it mean I can't learn from you, nor be appreciative for what i do learn from you... was my attempt to build on what I perceived as common ground between us). Doc JBHL, the link you are hoping we all will

This is all wonderful conversation, and a truly fascinating discussion. I have learned so much, trying to follow all the threads in this conversation. The greatest question I have is simply this: when are corporations going to really begin governing directly, openly, and not through the smoke and mirrors of 'governments." I await that day, because, only then, will the masses of people know who is really is in charge, and only then will they then be able to be

Yes, Dr JBHL is/was trying to be helpful. And i appreciate this.. thank you Doc. Dr. Guy may also be right that 'spy' (or suvrillance) groupings may be getting into the code writing of OS's. The OS writers, themsleves ALSO work for/ belong to corporations ('cept linux?) so, aren't they doing 'commerical' surveliance? Consider this: I feel strongly that any entity, company, software seller, etc., that uses in

While some of the latter posts here offer a modicum of hope, overall, it seems FE is, well, 'falling............." I'm disappointed..... but then I don't play elemental anymore, either.... we will see what the Devjournal "suggests" might happen.

Dr. Guy, re: your comments to me: You may accuse me of crying victim hood all you like, (thats a jump in logic), and a mean spirited dig, (hows that for a jump in logic?). However, the point I was trying, apparently unsuccessfully, to make was simply this: the fact they you and your corporate 'friends' and doing fine in this 'economy,' does not necessarily mean the economy is working for all, or even most Americans. Indeed, it is not. Your littl

Ah, poor Arcoscephale, my strategy, since i am, basically out of the game, has been 1) to be as expensive as possible to dog-like Ninnom, And 2) to help the weakest other nations. I will try to maintain the balance against the stronger players.... and since, i think, Arco is Just a bit stronger than Hinnom, all my earth and death gems will be going to two other nations.... oh, i feel so bad i did not send anything but info to Arco.... Tell you what...
