Yes, they were nerfed to compensate for better AI. You can change it back in data/english/CoreDifficultyLevels.xml

I'm going to kick the hornet's nest and go with maturity. This is the sort of game that attracts an older audience. This comes from the fact that it is a 4x game, single player only, and that the lore isn't your standard elves and dwarves and sparkles.

Try deleting everything in C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress\screens (it is a temporary folder). Otherwise reinstall the game.

Mostly not my work, for the most part I just imported some models and animations to the game and fixed a couple of quirks. Most of the new monsters are from Ryzom the MMO.

The texture reference has been inserted into the 3d model directly instead of the normal way. But the actual texture file is still outside the hkb file, a 3d model (they are never bundled like that). In this case you can simply search for K_Male_Hair_Flatcap_Mesh_01.hkb in data/english/ inside the files and see how they attached a texture to the item. &nbsp

I read a post a bit back that the AI did cast the spell of making in someone's game. It was a complaint thread because on a large map it was difficult to reach it in time. I play with those turned off.

The ability to train henchmen is not actually linked to the sovereign trait. It was just a way to visually display that all sovereigns of a particular race got that bonus. The henchmen are actually linked to the race of Men directly, as you see in their unittype.
