Why not? What's missing? Edit: Ah, the unitmodeltype will cause problems with Reliquary. Well, the only reason to use a unique modeltype that I can see is that you want the player to be able to design their own witches with and without apprentice witchcraft. If you instead made that trait mandatory (and gave it a standard modeltype) it'd be compatible as far as I can see.

DsRaider I really like these skins but they won't work with Stormworld the way I have it set up. Would you be willing to include Stormworld artdefs into your files if I sent you the relevant pieces? You wouldn't need to split it into two different versions of the mod, just add my defs to your own. People could then use SW with it and those who don't won't see anything odd.
I don't think any mod will be directly portable, but I expect if you are ready to put in ~10% of the original time you spent on the mod you'll be able to port it. Ie, most is the same but a few things different. Between E:wom and FE I had to re-do everything including graphics.
I'd be willing to bet there are more players playing RTS now than there were 10 years ago, 15 years ago, 20 years ago. It is only "dying" in the sense that other markets are growing faster (mobile, moba, mmo, sports games, fps). Although the amount of titles and expansions coming out has certainly gone down.
25$ contributed! Good luck.
I don't know of any such shortcuts unfortunately.
I'm really looking forward to playing AoW3. I don't think anyone who is a fan of Fantasy 4X TBS games should come down on any "side" before the competition is even released. It is in fact possible to like both games.
Looks amazing. REALLY good look of those cities.
First you need to place tiles that produce terrain yields. This is basically rivers, forests and most importantly plains. Then you use the environment tool to turn 3x3 tiles into kingdom or fallen environment. After this the tiles should be settlable. Place some chasm terrain somewhere to make the map maker overlay update the new tile yield values. Since tile yields are dynamic you cannot directly alter them in the editor. You need to either make a new terrain type or create a world r
Looks right.
Different parts of the hiergamenon pulls it from different parts of the data. You'll find what you're looking for in the XML in data/English. Just search for a few words of what you see in the hiergamenon and you'll find the specific file for that part of it.
There are so many problems with this it really is pointless. Tactical battles just wasn't built with this in mind. The best we can do is having pretty tactical maps, maybe some terrain bonuses. But the AI won't understand any of these new mechanics.
Sounds like it will be very interesting. Love the looks of those mountains. Monster heroes and units like Banshees is just bringing the game closer to traditional fantasy, and that's the right way to go in my opinion. Hoping summoning monsters will find more of a niche with the advent of true trait trees for champions. Edit: Saw the rivers on the website, much better than what it is currently!
Note it's not up to date for 1.20 so you'll need to tweak it first.
It should show up under Skills with that tag.
Did this a bit back, could be worth checking out https://forums.elementalgame.com/428191

Make sure the unitstat is defined.
See CoreImprovements.xml Generally a lot of values link to other values, so get used to searching within files for text strings.
We're all toshers in this game! Found a dead corpse? Ooh, shiny ring! Pillaged village? Oooh, new pair of boots!
Guys, please try to stay polite. This applies to those reporting issues as well as those defending the game. Everyone has the right to get vocal when their game gets ruined by corrupted saves or crashes. If it was happening to me, I'd be up on the barricades as well. And those reporting bugs, if you think invoking the history of Elemental as bug-ridden will get your current issues fixed faster, you are wrong. Be concise, follow the guidelines laid out to report issues and
The original E:wom review, giving Fallen Enchantress' predecessor War of Magic a 70: http://www.pcgamer.com/review/elemental-war-of-magic-review/ Those pictures used in the FE review looks like the graphical settings are way off. At least the game doesn't look like that to me. Looks like the computer is on drugs.
Require 2 unitstat for unlock. Put +1 on item and +1 on trait.
Yes, they will be recycled in time to make unique units for the expanded factions. Although I have no idea if or when that will happen, given my circumstances.
Indeed, you cannot limit equipment in this way. The only allowed prereqs for equipment are techs, races (blocks unit design and shop) and unit level. Besides unit level, there is no good way to block a unit from equipping an item once it is in the inventory. There is one bad way, but that means the item is destroyed if placed in the inventory of a unit that can't equip it. A work-around is to give the equipment a modifier that requires a unitstat on the wearer. For example, a moun
