By the way, my own personal preference for what is important for LH would be the new champions I have in this mod. Although they may not all play unique, I think there will be a lot more possibilities for heroes to look unique in LH. Looking forward to seeing what we can mod in LH.

They appear to be defined in CoreLayeredMusic.xml. They are linked from the raceconfig BladeOfThePeople and in CoreLayeredMusic.xml you have stuff like this Theme_BladeOfThePeople_BG <Volume&
Indeed that part appears to be hardcoded. The reason is probably because it is an effect running outside the normal citywalls, so you have walls+effect which is different from walls upgraded through wall improvements such as fortress. Since you cannot make it identical to wall of fire (effect+improvement wall) you can still use the normal modifier from the improvements but it means replacing whatever improvement wall it has. <GameM

No love for the rivermod? That's probably what I'm most proud of! The rest is just more content, but the rivers actually add something new and unique to the game.
Improvements and spells take a lot of time to add and they are difficult to balance. Improvements in particular I find very boring to add, because there's no room for lore texts so it becomes just a "name+bonus" thing. I also think there are too many improvements in the game already. Downloaded today, 5gb and a total blast to play. The only thing I don't like is that vendors don't use currency, instead they pay you in other generic items when you sell stuff. I loved playing dom3. LH will cost 40 bucks. It will cost 20 bucks if you own FE. Therefore, if you can find a place to buy FE for less than 20 bucks now you'll save money by buying FE first then LH.
