Change the file name to something else.
Heavenfall
Do you mean you have it installed, or do you mean it is in the required list? Check your whole mod folder - do you have any file named CoreMonsterUnitTypes.xml that is NOT inside \A_LHLIB_UnitStat_BG_vC\CoreReplacements\ ?
No, that's Zone of control. Influence was a global resource used in FE. Influence and zone of control are not connected.
Did you remember to install the /A_LHLIB_UnitStat_BG_vC/ folder? It is in the list of required modules.
Yes, no longer used in game.
Making new factions from the new races in this mod is not supported. More info here: http://childrenofstorm.wikidot.com/#toc2
Yes, only spell resist causes spells to be "resisted" (shows in text above character) and only spell mastery helps prevent those resists. Elemental and physical damage can also be partially mitigated using the stats like "cold resistance", in all those cases it is a percentage of the damage being mitigated. 100 or higher of one of those resistances means you ignore all damage from that type. You can also have negative values, meaning you take more damage from those types. &nbs
The fire damage is not included in the att vs def bit. So you are striking for 11 att then 3 extra fire damage.
Well, no, you can create your own groups of modeltypes if you want to. Have a unit that can equip a helm but not leggings, and a unit that can equip weapons but not shields and so on. The game just hasn't set up those yet. Right now there are broadly two groups set up (each divided into subgroups). One that can wear everything. And then another group used for Iron Golems, Trolls, Juggernauts, Ogres and so on. The second group can't equip armor or mounts, but they can still equ
If you give him a I_made_this_up he will be blocked from mounts, shields, armor, cloaks and weapons but he can still equip accessories.
Don't play with the rivermod if you want better performance. Best performance with no mods, of course.
I'm all in favour of multiplayer, but 1) topic is all caps and 2) it's a damn petition so I'm going to have to give OP a stern look instead, along with my -1.
Children of Storm includes the Reliquary http://childrenofstorm.wikidot.com/reliquary which I'm fairly proud of. You could put all the items in one file and it'd be fine.
If it's windows xp 64-bit you should be fine. However you may want to stay away from Huge maps while using this (or any) mod as they are running it pretty close for those already.
Seed is randomized because a static seed allows you to predetermine the sequence of returns, not because the returns would be the same numbers without randomizing the seed. Unless they have chosen a static seed that just so happens to give a sequence of results where pairs are probable, changing seed will have no impact on this.
The fundamental rule of all monster fiction is simple: Your best friend will probably end up killing you.
@leelist 1. I'm not sure what you mean, units can walk through friendly units now. If they end up on the same square that's a reported bug with the unmodded game. 2. Intended. 3. Not intended! Will fix in next release. 4. Known issue with the mod, not sure why it happens. @c_freman yes, 1.0c is 1.1c on the site. I misnamed it and couldn't change it. I'll add a note under the download.
I'm not sure if unit designs can have a prerequisite like that, you'll have to try it out. I suggest you use something other than oversized since that's something I use for other things. If you are doing a troll then showing no graphics won't be a problem because the cloaks and armorpieces in this game are all built for the human 3d model and won't work for other models anyway. So yes, you can do any artdef without a 3d model except mounts.
What exactly are you trying to do? What has the prerequisite of oversized?
Apparently this is one of those things where there's a rather large trade-off. Having all those environment terrain textures available in E:wom was supposedly a huge drain on memory. I guess we can only hope that this would be something they'll improve in future sequels as they move over to 64-bit CPU and DX11 or higher requirements.
Yes, that is correct.
FE:LH uses a save format where the current XML data as you start a game is included. This means you cannot change the XML data while you are playing a game. This mod is "save game compatible" in the sense that you can install this mod while you are playing an un-modded game, and you will see no difference at all. To see the content of this mod show up you will need to start a new game.
Better if you like more content.
You are obviously looking for gunpowder to use against the devs, so I'll try to frame this as politely as possible. The Gamer's bill of rights does not include anything about mods (I don't know where you are getting that line from) and neither Sega nor Relic have signed it anyway.
Stardock are professionals, they're not going to speculate about details regarding another company's imminent release to the public.
