Since they've pushed back the beta for another week, I'll be releasing the tiered mount mod later today.
Heavenfall
Good job, very effective. You should upload to https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/elemental_war_of_magic (it's where you end up if you click "mods" then "other" on the website.
If you guys havent been in a stardock beta before, let me just chime in and say they're rarely playable. If you're itching for the 1.1 beta just to try the new game mechanics, you are better off waiting until it's no longer in beta.
It didn't? Yes it did.
Clearly they've already planned expansions, and it is even more obvious that it will include more classes. It will probably go something like this Diablo 3 Diablo 3: The burning crusaders Diablo 3: Wrath of the Lich Diablo (or possibly: Wrath of the Hell King) Diablo 3: Cataclysmic
Well we're all on the same page. Nobody wants the main character to die OF OLD AGE . However, if he does end up dying, it should be possible to replace him with the replacements produced.
Yeah a big "no thanks" on the main character dying of old age. The dynasty system should provide new rulers if the first one dies, but not replace him/her naturally.
They can still die in the game, if they die while fighting in hostile territory they're gone forever. Or if they die without owning a city.
Heavenfall, how exactly would they learn if their dead?
That's the joke. [e digicons]:sheep:[/e]
I think it is implied that this is the case. The population grows way too fast for it to be a case of natural growth. The "prestige" buildings are also seemingly aimed to "attract" people - statues, inns, theaters, palaces and whatnot.
Yeah, the mounts give +1 to strategic movement as well. No armor for anything but horses and wargs until someone does a model for that.
Escape? Then you need to place more armies around the city. Burn them all to death. It's the only way they'll learn.
Yeah primarily Maya (but also max for ripping models). There is a modders' pack with a walkthrough that was shared to some people over IRC, but I am not allowed to share it yet. Right now I'm planning on dividing the mounts into 5 categories in 3 tiers (wargs and horses are considered tier 0); Tier 1; skath and bears. Skath will be found in swamps, and provide the rider with +1 strength and +1 combatspeed. Bears will be found in forests, and provide the rider with +1 agility a
Yes. The line isn't in the latest elf version.
Yeah, 1.1 is supposed to be the last of his "producer-ing". Then he hands responsibility and opportunity over to Pax and Kestral for patches and expansions. Obviously he is still involved (AI, campaign, owner) but has less say over the general direction.
The double improvements are from this line CPELF_raceconfigabilitybonus it is explained here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/397668 If you remove the line, you will remove all "kingdom" versions of the buildings, and have only elven versions left
Well with that raceconfig and the files above, I can build shrines on shards. Make sure that you don't have copies of files in subfolders or such things, as that may be interfering with your mods.
There's no problem with the tech tree. My guess is, you're using a custom faction with a RaceClassification tag that is not CPELF. This will disable all the resource buildings, not just the shards.
For those of you who are like me and can't wait, here's beta registration (beta not open yet, eta 4th nov) http://beta.dungeons-game.com/
If you don't have the CPELF_Shard_Harvesting_Amarian in your tech tree, you won't be able to build on them. If you do have that, post your files and I'll have a look.
After you've done a search, there's a button bottom left that says "file contents" which does the search again but inside files this time.
I just search in explorer. Don't even need another program. [e digicons]:D[/e]
So there's a goody-do-all enemy sovereign hiding in YOUR town, subverting YOUR every command, turning your citizens against you, clearly being protected by whatever militia remains from before you conquered it. And you're playing EMPIRE. And you DO NOT want to burn the city to the ground? I'm confused.
I liked the horus heresy books the best, but it gets a bit repetitive after a while since the story is basically the same for every one of the primarchs (noble intentions -> corrupted -> war). I think Fulgrim was by far the best in the series so far. Legion was alright as well, but it was harder to follow than your standard warhammer book I think.
I'll have some of that popcorn, if you don't mind.
