There isn't really any way to fix it except to keep saving, restarting game client and loading. I never played 1.4a but the previous version should have been stable and everything looked good in 1.4a so I don't think it should cause any crashes. That is, it shouldn't crash if you're on a 64-bit able system with 4gb of ram or more.

So you're telling me for a few extra bucks they'll include a drone in my delivery? I don't really need one but I think that's one of those things you kind of just want to have anyway, like an iPad. #machineuprising #Isurrender Also http://www.cad-comic.com/cad/20131203/

This is essentially hardcoded in the .exe, there's no good way to mod it.

Made it past 700k just barely! I really hope this game turns out as good as they pitch it.

A whooole bunch of games from the steam/amazon sale. Gotta have something to play on my new computer! Battlefield 4 for half price, Civ5: Brave new World for a pittance, Bioshock Infinite for a dime, x-com: enemy within for a flipped quarter. Plus some extras for a speck of dust; Sacrifice and Contagion. Plus Farcry 3 and Final fantasy 14: A realm Reborn came with the computer parts. It's going to be a good winter.

Eh, I want lots of stuff. The best way to get them is through shopping. I know there's a whole science to HOW we shop, but "why" isn't really much of a discussion for myself at least.

I'd buy such a DLC but it's not going to happen, the efforts from the dev to implement are way too large to make it worth their time. The DLC released so far have been fun but not really added a wealth of content (the quest pack was the most impressive, imho). This would be a dlc in the 20 dollar range probably, at which point it's an expansion.

Unfortunately the GPU arrived in time, but there was no way it would fit in my old computer. I've ordered a new computer, hope to have it running by thursday.

Bit of a circle jerk but I liked how they had two stories intervowen throughout the narrative. Also,
the timelords seemed to be just the good guys now, as opposed to the "just as bad as the Daleks" narrative from before. I mean, it's not as if the universe should be happy that Gallifrey is back in play.

Oh well, at least it was finally established why there are so many Daleks running around the universe after they were supposedly all deleted.[/

Yeah, it's not part of the mod. Derek Paxton was kind enough to add it to the main game, meaning everyone should have it that has the DLC installed. I think I might have forgotten about aDLC04_units, I'll send a message to Derek again but it might not be updated officially for quite a while (he only agreed to update the files when they needed updating anyway, ie not just because of my stuff going in).

Ridiculous, MS are just as bad. Besides, my worry isn't corporate spying but government spying and they're both just as much in bed with the intelligence organizations. Here's what MS and Google and any other tech giant hands over to the NSA: EVERYTHING. If they say it's "encrypted" they're lying. If they say it's "safe" they're lying. If it's in the Cloud the NSA

But that's not necessarily because they're evil sods. If they don't protect their IP they may lose rights to it. As in, if someone makes money off their IP and they do nothing, then that will negatively impact their claim the next time someone makes money from it. THey may even lose their rights altogether, if I remember correctly.

Removing the link makes it difficult to track what happens with the project in the future. Posting a link is not just to get people to back it. This is not an ADVERTISEMENT subforum, we should be able to discuss failures as well as successes. I'm putting it back up and forum admins can remove my post if they think it's inappropriate. Don't back this project! Read this thread. http://www.kickstarte

I really don't see how OP's kickstarter isn't going to get shut down. There's a huge difference between fan-created and for-profit.

3000 posts on the beta forum, doesn't look "dead" to me? That's pretty damn good for an indie game in closed beta. Edit: It was released the 14th apparently. I'll wait for a sale or very good reviews: 30 USD is AAA+ pricing nowadays.
