Each game has to find its own path, I will not buy a game from Steam that should be available elsewhere.

Oh ok, thanks. That puts a lot more depth behind the "winter is coming" motto.
One thing I'm not getting. They don't have the same seasons we have in real life? Their winter can last longer than a "year"? And the series is currently in a summer that has lasted "years"?
Crap...
In every city, because boosting to the highest weapon quality is the easiest way to beat the highest difficulty AI. Putting it in gildar would get me to the same place, but slower.
I do research always.
There isn't one at the moment. For the next patch, 1.3, this is listed in the current preview:
Tactical battles: Auto-Resolve has both sides fought by AI
Although that may not mean what you are describing.
It's not represented in the UI. It is logical to assume that a one-time army bonus is a short-term option.
First, the option is supposed to be a short term choice. It doesn't make sense to say that it's not good because it's short term, when that is how it is designed. Second, I agree with you and this sort of military level-up bonus is something lacking when it comes to making each city unique.
Looks like it might have been removed.
I think it's a good idea, because players are becoming increasingly picky about their games and this way they get to pick and choose from the early development what indie devs focus on. Likewise, it is a reality check for developers. Maybe that idea that sounded so awesome isn't so awesome after all. It's helping out by matching potential buyers with potential products.
Heavenfall – I can produce like lists for most government officials and the media, but to what point. Surely you are not implying that Bush and Co. have not straight out lied to the American people are you? So there are factual errors huh … what about all the factual lies the USG has promoted? Just a thought mind you. Wonder what a Google search would produce if it were to ask it for a list of factual errors in the USG ren
Yeah I did that but couldn't see the error. I'm 90% sure it's because you're on 8.7 instead of 8.8.
As factions in mods and, hopefully, in the main game will become increasingly diverse, I think it would be great if we could add "random" factions to a game we are starting. That is, instead of selecting a particular enemy, we select a questionmark icon (or several) instead. These are then replaced with any of the factions available. Also, another cool feature would be if we could select teams for the factions at the start. For example, I might want to play my faction and Pariden vers

This evolution of the field is unavoidable. Academics are simply not well suited to attract capital. The best research will happen behind closed company doors, because they can pay the best and they can make the research pay off for them (universities can do neither). The question is, does the added capital from patent-hungry companies outweigh the benefits of having an open field? I say yes. Companies are responsible for the vast majority of technological advancements in this century
BlackRainz, I am interested in improving the compatability with custom factions. Do you think you could upload the xml from your faction somewhere? For example to http://www.pastebin.com Edit: BlackRainz, it appears that you downloaded 8.7 of this mod. I forgot a folder, the LIBracemod, in 8.7. Please download 8.8 instead.
DrJBHL anyone can get hacked, and that is exactly how a spam message looks with bad links. They take a legit article, and then provide a tinyurl or something so people don't really know where they end up. It is counterproductive to be speaking of security and then use bad practice. If you advice us to only navigate to safe sites, then let us see where we are navigating. Trust you? Fuck no.
Yes, the problem is how are we supposed to navigate to trusted sites only when we can't see where we are going?

10% + 20% = 30%, so they stack. I believe the purpose of the monsters is exactly as you describe it. To provide an early game advantage, but you'll be worse off in late-game.
When I was doing the expandedfactions_uniqueunits submod, I was never able to get the AI to reliably build these new monsters using this method. Are you seeing the AI build more than just a few of these monsters?
I dont know why but when i go to the city build menu to build a building, there are all these empty slots there.
