I don't know, I haven't worked with maps like that. I thought we were talking about CoreMaps.xml.
Agreed, especially now that using every bit of production is so important. We definitely need a popup or a better warning for when a city finishes its queue. Although I am not in favour of another popup, I'd rather have a user interface animation with a sound played.
If the game was bad or not really has no impact on the suit.
I don't mind cities being idle when they have built their useful parts. I'm not going to start building units in a conclave just to keep the queue full.
It is vital to keep reporting bugs that you keep experiencing. That said, I don't see a single bug report from the original poster. If you are crashing then submit a proper bug report - just talking about it in a feedback thread doesn't do anyone any good. If you are having an issue, your best option is to either report it properly or ignore it. OP needs to work on his communication skills. He/she needs to learn how to best get a point across. Huh.. there used to be another post about this game but it has been nuked. The graphics just look too poor for me to be interested in it. It's not just a matter of having low-resolution sprites, they are also low-quality (ugly). They don't have a solid design for the game and I seriously doubt they'll be able to produce the amount of content necessary to fill out a game of this type.
They don't mean anything unless you're editing stamps as well. Edit: Which tags didn't you understand or didn't work as you thought they should?

I think a lot of ideas here are simply too complex to make good game mechanics. A simple idea is, as posted before, to simply give a point of XP for every champion in a city every turn. Could be less than a point too. As long as it is significantly lower than what you'd get for being out fighting it really doesn't matter that champions could possibly select combat skills or magic skills while being idle. Out fighting: -chance of bonus loot -clearing lands of monsters
I think it's fine as it is now. It certainly isn't restricted completely from other races. Some cities just have a better magical surrounding and can be shaped differently. That's a brilliant idea for the game.
Imho, all communication after 30-36 hours up just isn't worth it. People rarely remember what was said, and rarely is anything of worth spoken of. Meetings become about checking off everything on your internal list and making a few jokes to show you've still got the spirit.
I never even considered building units in conclaves, I don't think the very minor bonuses from those spells are worth it at all compared to a real fortress with a war college or a warrior temple.
There is the Oracle building, available as a level-up choice on city level 3 in a conclave. There is also a Scrying Pool, available for the Pariden faction or any custom faction with the Enchanters bonus.
Maps are not technically custom-generated at all, rather a roll of the dice decides what stamps will be used in the map. Each stamp has certain categories, and those are what matters when you alter the CoreMaps.xml file. That's how I was able to put my rivermod stamps in all maptypes - I simply put them in all categories.
I play exclusively small or medium, so that's where my vote is.
Which difficulty were you playing? One thing to keep in mind is the AI often build poor units, not expensive high-quality units. They often lack traits and equipment. This gives them plenty of units when measured in units, but poor armies measured in strength.
Tile yields are determined by a number of factors. (Note that none of this really "matters", what matters in-game is the numbers you see on a single tile. This is more for those interested in what goes on behind the calculation.) First, they must be the right "environment" - green or fallen. If they are just barren or any of the other types, it doesn't give ANY yields. Second, the type of terrain that surrounds the tile determines what the yields are. They are gathered fro
I sort of got the same feeling. If I may, I believe because it is because the actual gameplay has been so much improved. Before, the gameplay just wansn't central - there were certain key strategies but it was more about winning as fast as possible and exploring the content. Now the gameplay has become more apparent and more important. This takes away from the immersion because we are constantly reminded that it is a game. My point is, I don't necessarily think it's a bad
Stormworld is intended as a high fantasy mod. http://stormworld.wikidot.com/
Yes, I agree that this can be quite aggravating. Although no monster is unbeatable, it is really annoying to face the strong ones early on in the games. What reason? I don't know. Maybe the AI player decided to upset a goodiehut.
Better graphics = fewer people can run it = smaller user base. Tbs 4x fans do not come primarily for graphics but gameplay. The graphics in FE is more than enough for what it accomplishes - seamless integration between a marvellous strategic map and tactical battles with hundreds of units in them. If you see anything in particular that looks especially ugly, you should point that out. A graphics overhaul at this point is not going to happen. And why should it, when it looks better tha
I just checked if my Reliquary items went into the general pool of items. They didn't before, but they do now. So yay, great improvement (bug fix?). Goodiehuts and quests give random common, uncommon and rare items. Ultrarare and unique items are not randomly given out, they are only given specifically by their internalname. Of course that doesn't preclude the possibility of making our own treasure rewards that randomly give out those types of quality items. I also tried makin
I actually used to moderate one of the most popular forums in Sweden. Well, I participated in moderating a part of it (because it is so large). The forum is famous for being incredibly open and free. So you'll find things that you don't really find anywhere else, such as discussions about file sharing, political extremes, hackers, drugs, and "illegal" documents. Prohibited were things like child pornography, personal information about non-public figures, arranging drug sales and so fo
