This issue only happens when equipping Procipinee's Crown. It is unique because it is an accessory that has 3d graphics. When equipping it while making a custom sovereign, or equipping it using the inventory system for champions, the 3d model will appear in the 3d representation of the model. However, as soon as the custom sov is made, or the inventory system is closed, the 3d graphics will disappear from the model. Here is an example of a unit that I equipped the cr

Not only would it be crazy helpful for modders, but I already spent ~10 hours making stuff that depended on it before they broke it. So yeah, I'll keep talking about it. But none of that really changes the fact that there's a bug in the un-modded game that needs fixing.
Yes please, this is badly needed. Either that, or make the pop-up not require immediate action so we can minimize it and choose later.
Currently, there is no indication that there actually is a "map generator", it simply puts stamps together as a puzzle. You also cannot increase or decrease the amount of stamps on a particular map type - they are weights.
Oh god please edit the title of this post, OP. It is figuratively like a stab in my brain every time I have to read it. I'm talking about the spelling of the word "forgottern".
I'm using the setting where the camera automatically returns to a certain angle. However, when I use this option, and press mouse3 to slightly turn the camera, then release it to return to default position, the following issue occurs: the camera will do a "twirl". In this video I am for 0.5-1 seconds pressing mouse3 then changing the angle then releasing mouse3. The "twirl" the camera does is this issue. I repeat it 4 times. ht
I don't use linux so this may or may not be of any help. In windows, you can select a different folder to run programs in. When you do this with FE you get the "string not found" error. When trying to run FE, if you can specify that it should also run in its native folder somehow, you may be able to run it without navigating to the folder first.
If a unit has 1 it must be included in the racetype such as found in CoreRaceTypes.xml Another solution: Delete the line 1 and it should appear for all races. You can then limit it to particular races using
Race</Type>
I don't know... has anybody done the math on this? I mean, a single point of material could be a huge bonus to production. A point of grain could be crucial to getting your city that extra level. I LIKE cities with essence and I always choose sites with essence on them. But I do so because spells provide a very dynamic way of altering what a city does. I'm not convinced that essence provide the best solution if I am trying to min-max. How much is a point of essence really wort
The city shop gets REALLY messy late in the game. Everything seems to be added with no real sense of what goes first and what comes after. There's no order. This makes the shop difficult to look at. I would recommend that you split the shop into the same categories that items have when they are inside a champion's inventory.
One thing I like about FE is the trophies you can get for defeating strong enemies (wildland bosses). However, after I have assigned them to a city, there is nothing at all that tells me I have a trophy in that city. That's a bit of a let-down. I would like to see trophies listed in the city details view, under the list of Improvements: http://i.snag.gy/0hSc0.jpg Also, hovering over it should show the from the abi
Issue still present in 0.950
This, I believe, is caused by a special set of circumstances. The spell Shrink is called from this modifier
Unit MeleeAppliesSpell Shrink Victims are shrunk, halving their Attack and giving them +50% to Dodge
The Shrink spelldef has this
This bug has been happening for several betas now, and still not fixed. The item Sculla's Mace is seriously bugged. When I strike enemies with it, they end up like this:
Great list!
Does 'New tactical combat screen' mean we will be able to place our units at the start to stop the annoying problem of units stuck behind other units?
Surely it's the one we're seeing in the screenshot? There's lots of new details there.
Something that annoys me. As you can see in the picture, even though the tile yields are "behind" the unit, they still appear in front of him visually. It makes sense for the overlay to be in front of everything on its own tile, but I don't think it should be in front of everything on other tiles as well.
Lots of maps or something? Odd.
I don't think either can be changed.
Dunno, possibly you are using a custom faction. Custom factions save defaultvalues when they are created, and that saved value has priority. Do you think you could make a separate thread for questions about modding? This threadd should be more about things we want to be able to do, but can't.
To use edits in the core files you must start the game through a shortcut with the -localdataonly tag. "C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\FallenEnchantress.exe" -localdataonly otherwise the game downloads all core data from their servers and use that. This is being done during beta so they can push new versions without requiring patching.
Grain is converted to food through productionrules. CityResourceEffectDefs.xml (ties the two together)
TileYieldGrain Food FoodPerGrain <br
All my games that I save end up corrupted. The only way not to have my games ruined is to not save/close the game.
Sounds like something needs a due process.
