Right. So monsters have this thing called Milestones. Milestones determine what stats a monster has at spawn, but not when it levels up. So a monster that spawns at level 7 and levels to 9 still uses level 7 milestones. Therefore in order to have stats that increase as a monster levels you'll need to put it in a trait.

My tab is also failing to select the next unit with moves available in this version of FE. Edit: It looks like the function has been modified. Tab no longer switches to units with moves left IF THEY HAVE A STANDING MOVE ORDER. I like that.
I like that they can do this. It makes the quests part of the world, instead of being completely separated from everything else.
I'm slowly starting to form a Theory about an issue in the game, which may be obvious but I haven't seen it discussed. The apparent symptom: People who play on higher difficulty seem to be the most vocal about how heroes dominate the game. There may be many reasons for this. It may be that playing on higher difficulty forces the player to "min-max" by focusing on the strongest strategy and ignoring the weaker ones. But there may be another reason

Just me popping in to tell you about some ways mods can crash the game at that precise time. If you didn't mod this doesn't apply to you. First, if you have the mod Stormworld_Rivermod installed, remove it because it causes the game to crash at that time without updating TerrainTypes.xml in installation directory. Get the new version uploaded. Second, if you used any custom factions previously (from Stormworld_ExpandedFactions) but then deleted the mod, make sure you e

It gets very messy because of how the upgrade system is built. Note below that I am using terms "Unit Design" and "Trained Unit" as different things. A Unit Design exists in your unit design window, but it is not an actual unit under your command.
