For people being discouraged because of leaders having a lot of points: Keep in mind that a lot of up front points can be gained from an initial set of things you can only do once (there are just so many wishlists and email alerts you can add a game to). I would say there is a large number of points anyone can get very easily by just doing wishlists/email alerts. From there people differentiate themselves with more creative or time consuming efforts.
I don't want to enc

I believe I ended up taking a screenshot of the wishlist, hosting it on photobucket, and they submitted the link to the picture. It's not the ideal solution, because they prefer a link to the actual wishlist, but as far as I they don't have a public wishlist. Hold on, why am I telling you my secrets?[e digicons]:P[/e]

It's watching videos like this that really, really make me wish Nintedo would release the full soundtracks of their games. I mean seriously, there are tons of people who would buy the official Legend of Zelda or Super Mario theme songs. At least they released the Super Mario Galaxy music and Japan, but it's too bad we can't get it on this side of the Pacific[e digicons]:'([/e]

How old is that video? Because Boston Dynamics, the company that made that LittleDog (the robot in that video), also has a much larger version, BigDog, that is designed for military use, specifically carrying heavy stuff over difficult terrain. http://www.youtube.com/BostonDynamics (How do you embed video, by the way?)

Take a screenshot when you're at the web page that says you're signed up for the alerts, then host that screen shot on photobucket or something, and when you submit, link the picture instead. It works much better, because some websites take users to their own page on those links instead of your page.
