I'm kind of suprised with myself; I'm actually looking forward to Battlefield 3. There's so many Call of Duty and CoD-esque games out there that when I see another "modern FPS" I just write it off, but BF3 looks interesting. I'll probably wait for it to go on sale, though. I'm also looking forward to Sins: Rebellion, but other than that there isn't much. Maybe SotS2, but I couldn't get into the first one.

I've looked around, I know you can find them. Or have you narrowed it down to just those two?

I'm all for space exploration and research, but lets be honest; SETI isn't doing much to further either of those. Yeah, it's a cool idea, but it's not doing anything "useful." It would take over four years to get the closest star, traveling at the speed of light , and it's incredibly unlikely to have any planets that can support life. Yes, there is almost assuredly life out there somewhere, but if we ever find it, it's doubtful that we will be

The Smithsonian American Art Museum is doing an exhibit on the art of video games (if you hadn't picked that up from the title[e digicons]:P[/e] ). The exhibit starts in March, but starting today you can vote on which games will be included. They divided video game history into five eras, seperated each era by platform, divided each platform into four genres, and there are three nominations for each genre for each platform (it will make more sense when you look at it, trust me).
