Looks interesting. I like the unit formations.

0 day patch also acts as an anti-piracy measure to persuade people to purchase the game to get access to the new content brought by the 0 day patch.
Reminds me of skydiving [e digicons]:O[/e] . I really enjoyed the 1st game (didn't bother with the sequel produced by a separate studio).
You guys can have Celine and can definitely keep that moron Bieber. SYL over all of those fools [e digicons]XO[/e] .
EB Games has long lost any respect that I may have had for it. I haven't bought a physical copy of a game in a long time too which helps me avoid their constant delays and inadequacies. That's installed size, I believe the download size is a bit smaller. Release game will probably be larger, but I can't imagine it growing tremendously. I'd be surprised if it's over 2GB (but that's a guess).
Going from what Brad has been saying about the amount of graphical content that is in the game that was not p

I already have. Not sure why you wouldn't.
Elemental will tank "Tank" is higly situational and non-descriptive. Number of copies sold is less important than return on investment. Civ 5 *needs* to sell a crapton of copies because a ton of money was spent on the game. Elemental cost what.. 1 million? 1.2? Something along those lines, I think. Comparatively, it needs to sell many fewer copies in order to generate a great return on investment and end up generating good busin

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think I may also check out Icewind Dale 2 and play as a wizard.

Special abilities / bonuses to make certain recruitable forces perfect for filling niche rolls is always nice (shock troops, witch hunters, cavalery, archers, element-immune soldiers, etc).
I'm getting this error in Firefox when trying to upload an avatar image.
In regards to the parsing issue and the amount of time it takes. One possible solution could be to parse all of the xml and produce one large binary file upon starting the game (and loading assets from the binary file). Then for every subsequent re-launch simply scan the entire XML directory for changes (time stamp changes) since the game was last run, if no changes were made use the binary file. This way you can reduce what ever I/O overhead you're having on loading every single XML

I thought Stardock and Valve (or at least Impulse and Steam) were competitors. But earlier today I found Elemental on Steam for 10% off.
I reported that the game seemed to be only running on one core (beta 4) but no responses were made.
Will it be possible to have 2x1, 3x2, etc sized tiles in the future?
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any games that feature really in depth magical combat systems. Doesn't necessarily need to be an RPG, but any games that treat magic fights more like dueling and less like two people pointing cannons at one-another.
Looks extremely bland IMO.
I'm guessing / hoping for some form of simultaneous turns / battles.
Ok yeah I got the impression he was freelancing (and the client was worth $1,000,000). Out of curiosity what exactly was the demo?
