Uninstall Beta Version before Loading Commercial Version?

I seem to remember a Frogboy post in one of the forums to someone who was having trouble with EWOM Beta 4 crashing.   If I remeber correctly, he suggested the person uninstall the older beta version and then do a clean install of Beta 4.

Do any of you remember this too?     Do you think it would be wise to uninstall the beta version we have now before loading the commercial version?

From my experience with GC2, when the retail comes out it does this for you.

I know it did for Twilight.

Generally speaking it's always "safest" to do a complete fresh install. However, in majority of cases you can just let it patch you. It's more likely that tons of files will be added rather than removed in the distribution,  so the potential for problems is smaller since you probably won't have old files doing something funky.
