There is more to influential then just the size of your borders P22. Its also the method used to resist other cities borders expansions and to push back their borders.

You know the game isn't that bad once you find out it was designed to be played with a Gamepad and not a keyboard/mouse. Plugged in a 360 controller and tried it again and it plays pretty good. Though I did just find out that in an effort to throttle game advancement speeds (ie leveling) they are only allowing 8 thresholds (a threshold being however much xp they deem it should be) per week of 100% experience gain followed by 7 more thresholds of declining xp gain until you reach your limit.</

Shame thanks to the various bitchers and whiners now we will get less info since frogs decided to stop doing as many dev journals. All come some asshats had to jump all over him in the latest ones. And people wonder why the majority of businesses NEVER respond to you on their forums...

Welcome to stardock games, love them dearly, but the lack of documentation is a trend with them. So just makes for a more rugged learning curve.

Amazingly its another thread proclaiming useless comparisons to many games that got HORRIBLE reviews at launch, and took years as well of support to live up to their potential. Well on the bright side I guess Reynolds will sell a lot of aluminum foil helping you make your hats.

I find it entertaining because its Not civ 4 its a different dynamic in humorous kinds of ways. I am so burned out on that game after years of playing. It makes a good hold me off till my copy of Civ 5 arrives. All games are just a temporary stop till Star Wars: The old Republic, because if that lives up to its potential I surmise it will be like wow for me. WoW got her claws in me for over 4 years. I didn't play a single other game hardly, and I can foresee that possibly happening with SW:TO

The worst is the moronic spell system imo. It currently has you select a target, then select the spell, then click on the target again to confirm. For some reason they chose to ignore the simple and common mmo convention of select your target, hit you key and it activates. yes its just one extra step to do clicking the foe. (and yes you HAVE to click them...no other way) But when you have to do this repeatedly every fight due just one facet of the clunky ui desi

the thing is you just can't tell till you get your hands on it sometimes. Take Final Fantasy 14 for example, it looks beautiful graphically, its sounds pretty nice with all the new options for characters and stuff. I've just spent 4 hours on the open beta with it...its pretty boring to play and the UI is god awful, worse ui I have ever dealt with. And don't even get me started on them not letting me play at 1920x1080 in fullscreen...nooooo windowed mode only....fuckers...
