Each city is alloted 50 tiles to work with. When you build a resource into a city (ie gold mines, farms) so that they are "protected" by the city (Ie can't be destroyed by monsters without taking the city) they use part of your 50 tiles. Now being 4 tiles each resources integrated into the city can eat a lot of space up if you have many of them nearby. On way around this is to plan city placement and building direction accordingly. After all the game doesn't care if your 50 tile city is in a

You have no reason to apologize. You made it clear to them that they weren't reviewing the "day 0" code. He was just being an ass.

Select your City and hit X to destroy it. (at least according to manual, I haven't tried it in game)
think you need to do it a few blocks wide so that units can cross. I haven't ran into this yet, but I think its plausible.
WOW, that worked...I wish that had been written out somewhere Thank you both!
Its in the Campaign, when you found your first city it explains how to do it. Campaign = tutorial basically.

I keep getting frustrated, turning it off for a bit (looking here each time for a hint), coming back and starting a new game. I get a little more each time but it is frustrating. The vids area nice start but you really need to go over the interface better, dealing with NPC's, etc.I like knowing what I am doing and my options.I love the concept and think this game has serious potentia
I can't stand this "feature". Hopefully, if day-0 doesn't fix that arbitrary 50 tile limit, there'll be an easy way to mod it out. If it must be kept for "balance", at least let us research it away in the "civilization" tech!
day 0 is cutting down on the number of resources that start in the world. So odd starts like my current game with 1 old forest, 2 tech buildings, a fertile ground (I know its always there) a gold mine and an iron mine
3) Right now, no. You can upgrade an existing design to use new equipment, but you can't upgrade any units you already built. And that seems really weird to me. The guy knows how to wield an axe and now that I have a sword He can't be thought how to use it.... Should have a school for veterans to teach them to be better... A peasant is better than my veteran .... does not hold

I don't remember having a post hidden, but doesn't that go against my "right" to "demand" a finished game as according to your bill of rights? It literally says: Gamers shall have the right to demand that games be released in a finished state. I know it says that you, the developer, do not have to *listen*, but wouldn't hiding posts
hmmm, this would imply a sovereign with high armor is almost unstoppable...
no just harder to kill. I had a game where one of the female evil ai factions (I dont have them memorized yet) had a Sword of Wrath and Light Plate armor by like turn 35. I kinda avoided her for awhile till I had the tools to take her out around turn 80 or so.
dont worry about it. Day 0 patch removes the drake leader from the snathu cause they are way way way screwed up stats wise. AI gets one and it levels your whole kingdom with it.
Is it true Drakes are being taken out of day 0 patch?
Well think about it. While thats fun to do in a way, its not much fun when an enemy sovereigns kid drake halfbreed comes and takes out your cities.

IMO, it should have been in from Day 0 like any other game of it's type in the past decade+. So many screenshots and videos and nowhere does it say "not available in MP". Does it say wanywhere on the box about it not being inlcuded? How about a discalamer "not actual MP screenshots"? And I'm sorry, but after the Demigod fi
right click on ground to move troops. On the city on the left hand side you will see their little circle portrait icons. You have several ways of moving them from here. Click on one so the ring turns gold (ie selected) then either click the little arrow at the top of its portrait, or right click a spot outside of the city. You can select multiples of them by holding shift while you click their portraits.
As frogboy posted yesterday= "Now, a couple words on multiplayer. The servers are up but we are not going to enable multiplayer until next week. Part of this is, to be honest, team exhaustion. The early release meant a lot of people who were expecting this weekend off to rest from the grueling last few weeks had to come in. So we’re going to let them get a couple of days off later this week and open up the MP next week. One piece of good news on MP. Ori
Let's see: you just have to do what games like Age of Wonders have been doing since the dawn of MP: You can watch the battle or not watch it. Easy. If you don't watch it, you can still fiddle around with all your own units/towns/econimics while the battle takes place.
