I like the idea of more transparent, drifting to denser as the distance increases.

I really struggle with this beta as a whole, its painful and for the most part incredibly boring... you somehow make it look like a joy. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next instalment.
I say keep the units small as you zoom out. As a few say here, it spoils the immersion with giants all over the map. The best option would be to keep the option.
Surely its not ready for that release day...... I'd say its about 50% there!
Oh as a side note to my Army friends, apparently this highlighted omission and observation thread is not worthy of even 1 point. Nice! How do I desert? ;)
Just met and proposed to my wife..... I was on the other side of the continent! What makes matters worse within a turn she gives birth to a beautiful daughter. Am I and my Sovereign the only ones worried by this? Surely all proposals and 'cough' copulations should be cemented in the same square?

I agree... Its fantasy with no real thought.... its almost unimaginative, the old cliche all quests start in Inn's. *yawn*
Why not add quests that reveal hidden paths through so called impassable mountains? [e digicons][/e]
Hello. I helped translating SOASE Trinity to french (since the official translation was just terrible) and the boxes of the UI were often too small for the french text to fit in. I think other languages might have the same kind of issue. We had to lower the font size and even then, we faced some difficulties. A french translation is generally 1.5 times bigger than its source. If you design your UI with that in mind, you wil
Quoting seanw3, reply 69Who cares about map irregularities like that? Is your imagination so far diminished that you need your fantasy games to have ultra realistic river formations. We could go on for days about this map's similarity to real life and the justifications for its geographical qualities or we could just enjoy it. Or are you capable of enjoying things? It looks silly and unprofessional. And it's not such a
AD&D BIRTHRIGHT!!!!!
Quoting TCores, reply 11It's entirely possible the devs have never played it! You should mention it to them and get them to take a look at the dynasty stuff. In Birthright, the people who rule something are called "Regents". Let it be nobles (control the law), guilders (control the commerce), priests (control the faith) or wizards (control the magic). Regents rule because they are "Scions": descendants of people who foug
It is... quite true, but what if his hand is forced, forced into having a circus of fantastical creatures if he is to play on an even field. I suppose is your Fantasy army preference that of C.S.Lewis with Unicorns, Badgers alongside Centaurs or the (in my opinion) maturer and the likes of Tolkien?

Frogboy so far I note your vids all follow a similar trend. Clicking tiles, throwing down building icons, noting NPCs, recruiting and stat referencing. I still GM the Pen and Paper version... the best TSR Module yet. If Elemental captures just a fraction of the feel of the Birthright world 'Cerilia' then they are onto a winner.

I've read and seen that too... 'Simple Combat' its not really what I want to hear. We've been promise 'Tactical combat' but it seems its taken less of a priority now. At this rate it will just be for show only! [e digicons]#:([/e]
I particularly like your map making tool, that'll be fun. Oh btw why do your women have a 5'o'clock shadow?
Hmmm no mention of the infamous 'Tactical Battle' system... surely its worth a mention somewhere, or does the reviewer know something we dont?
