That's not addiction, that's lack of self-control. Addiction is when actual physical changes in your head make it so not even friends or relatives could drag you away. Things like game addiction and sex addiction are bullshit. People just don't want to take responsibility for the fact they made bad decisions that they very much had control of.
I don't really buy that. I went through a similar thing as <a id="ctl00__C

Do they still have options to buy things which are actually within their budget? If so whats the problem?". I don't see you saying anything about charging for cosmetic items is okay but not items that have an actual effect. How about them having fun until some PvP combat shows up and the one with the fattest wal

The numbers need a lot of tweaking right now, 10 man armies aren't the goal. :)
I think the problem in part is people hear of historic warfare and how one army had to take some fort, or pass, or such before they could continue on to another city or such. So they want to create that element in the TBS games with their forts hold the front line. The problem is the reasoning behind why that historical battle took place isn't present in the game. Armies had to take forts along their route through enemy territory because

If you pre-ordered last week you should have gotten an email with your registration info. In that case the game should be in Impulse, as long as you click the blue button and set it to show pre-release versions :). If you didn't get the email and don't see it in Impulse, DoomBringer90 speaks truth. [email protected] can sort it out.
Quoted for Truth. Something I"d hoped for all along was a robust trade system for the game and a AI good at using it. But I guess in the new vision that isn't "fun" in a game, though I'm not sure anymore what is "fun" in the game because fun isn't simulating (Sorry Civ franchise, historical simulation I guess isn't fun anymore in a 4X game) and tactical choices aren't fun in a game.
You're going to cite Civ? Really?

Defensive units are bad not because they're actually "bad units", but because defending anything that isn't a city in your standard TBS is useless. You can't stop me from simply going around your defensive units. In order to stop me, you have to attack, at which point *I* am the defender and I get the defensive bonuse
I don't really like the idea of "zones of control" because it basically makes areas impassible for no reason other then the enemy has a unit parked there. The only way past is to attack that unit which doesn't make sense cause it's like if the enemy has a fort on the mountain next to a valley why do I have to scale the mountain and attack fort in order to go through the valley? It gives to much power to defending units as they get a

It's pretty obvious that population loss due to negative food isn't implemented yet. As to the other point... yeah, it would make more sense if food worked on population instead of housing instead, but at the end of the day the results are similar. If you can build houses, your population will grow. The feedback is just faster this way. If you tie it to people instead of houses, you'll build houses, and the food level won't change until those houses fill with people (which takes some

For anybody who has already played a similar TBS game, it's fairly obvious how most of the controls work and what you're supposed to be doing (except for how to send units together as a group, THAT part of the UI needs work). But for a player
I’m not a huge fan of the current housing / food model. I don’t mind food being a global resources but it feels unnatural for a garden or farm to essentially provide a one time increase in food. I’m also rather disappointed that defense is a catch all for armor and evasion. The diplomacy was also pretty bare bones although I suspect this will be corrected in the days to come. Have y

To move, just click on a character and right click on where you want to go. You can "claim land" by building a settlement, which your sovereign can do. As it grows, it's borders will expand. Try to build your first city near some kind of food resource (fertile land, wheat, etc). You'll need food to expand your city and build housing.

Most reviewers started out as gamers, and they're still fanboys for some franchises, or some types of games over others. Combine that with the corruption in the review industry and you get a system that works really poorly. Final Fantasy 13 is a great example, a lot of reviewers simply overlooked all the problems (including an incredibly terrible 360 port) and gave it high scores because it's a Final Fantasy game and has pretty cutscenes on the PS3. In a lot of ways, th

The 5 person squad is called an 'army' by the game because it's the only title it can give when multiple units are put together. Turn length and such isn't concrete yet. They're focusing on making gameplay work well without worrying about 'realistic' timing and such and then they'll making the timing work.<br /
