Then whats he gonna do when i cast famine on him? Ok, lets say the melee sovereign is great in combat... I don't think any amount of agility is going to bother a fire spell that does damage based on my Int%... Meaning his armor is useless. You keep talking like there is a serious balance issue here an
This is incorrect, a melee sovereign most definitely needs to invest in Constitution as well, since he's going to be getting hit. This isn't the case for a caster, unless he chooses to dance around on the front lines.
Or you're fighting someone with ranged units, or another caster. The melee sovereign is going to have more agility and thus more defense against the ranged units at least (not sure how spell defense works right
It's also not quite accurate. Strictly speaking, a melee sovereign who only raises melee stats will be able to cast much fewer spells per turn (and not even all spells due to having low essence) while a caster sovereign who raises his INT/Essence scores will not only do more damage with his spells, but be able to cast more per turn (and more mana in tactical battles as well). So while the melee guy hacks better, the caster guy is able to fling sp

Easy and fair. Rewarding more xp for more damage done helps keep leveling at a steadier pace (higher level units do more damage, so get more xp, but need more xp to level up), but it's also common for games to expect you to "catch up" new heroes to the higher level ones. <br /

Modding is good for game longevity, and once some high-profile/high-quality mods come out some more people may pick up Elemental from the bargain bin (or wait for an Impulse sale), but the vast majority of the full-price sales will have to come from the game built from those tools on release. The majority of people aren't modders, and don't play mods. These peo
As for Roman things. Once we can import models and make them work in Elemental, there are Plenty of games out there that you could "borrow" units and units designs from. That way all you have to do is convert them over to work in the Elemental Engine. As far as I know doing such is perfectly Legal as long as your work is a "Fan Work" and distributed for Free. Once you start charging players for it you enter the realms of IP infringement

Most of the game is there, feedback about it as a whole game is totally valid. And yes, that includes "this isn't fun". One of the problems with ask
I wasn't a huge fan of ME2 either. The actual story was pretty good... all 10 hours of it. There's quite a lot of filler to make it seem like a full length RPG. Like the hours spent scanning planets, which has to be the most ridiculously boring thing I've ever seen in a game. I also played as an Adept, and there was almost no problem not solved by Singularity. Let's not even get started on how badly the DLC fits with the rest of the game. Honestly I'm glad to see Dragon Age did better
