This also works in reverse. You can make a female sovereign, send your husband to the capital... then go have some fun in the rest of the world!
Well, there's always wisdom. We have to do something with the stat (starting spell points don't count) - and, really, it would be nice if casters had another stat that directly affects spells, so they just don't stack lots of int. Melees can up attack with str or defense with dex or health with con, casters can up effectiveness (of some spells) with int and mana pool with essence and (??) with wisdom. So int and essence are your only real ch

Spell Level vs. Character level Therel doesn't seem to be a spell level vs. character level system, a level 1 user can learn and use the same spells as a level 5 character. I'm still not sure this is balanced, will be see a level 1 magic user be able to take down a level 10 magic user?

Will the enemies always be an open book for us? I agree here. Spies should be part of the Adventure Research Tree under Thieves Guild. Once you recruit a spy and successfully send him into one of the other kingdom/empires city you should get this info, otherwise we shouldn't see this. JMO.

However, what I am not in favor of is simply taking the single player stuff and making it MP. I'd rather add more modes later like a dedicated Arena mode and such.
That's perfectly reasonable, but until you have all those other things leave tactical battles on in MP. :)

There is multiplayer. Since it's turned off right now... that's the extent of what we know for sure. From what has been said before though, I'd expect fairly basic stuff at release. I'd check back closer to release to see what's going on there. That said, if you're looking for a serious multiplayer game, I don't think this is it. That's not where the developer focus is.

Every stat is useful. Even a caster benefits from Strength for when he runs out of mana during a long battle (or starting a battle with low mana), but that doesn't make it a core stat. Con is a core stat for the melee Sovereign because he takes damage from everything. It is not a core stat for t
