I get the frustrating feeling Im going to have to wait until tuesday to get it straightened out as well. It is working as intended--the beta keys are temporarily disabled until we have the new build ready to go. The game will reappear when we get there and the keys are re-enabled later tonight.
The other point in the thread is pretty valid though - if you pre-order something then go back and look in a couple weeks, there's n

There's a lot of retailers pulling this stuff now. In one thread, he mentioned that Best Buy actually *paid* for said content. I mean, really? Good lord. It's a trend we're seeing from more and more games, and a lousy one. I really don't want to have to go through how ridiculous the Dragon Age one was again. Someone made a chart for that. A game called Hunted that I'm looking at has four different sets, depending on where you buy it from. Just encourages me to wait for the "ul
Which software? The Game? The OS? Or the Video Driver that triggered it?
Probably all of them, at some point or another. But it doesn't matter a whole lot in the end, since you can only control one of them yourself and have to ask the other two to fix their stuff (and then work around it if they don't). Dealing with bugs caused by Microsoft is pretty much a routine part of the week for me, but at the end of

Sorry guys.
There's no DRM except for the DRM? :P searchforwisdom - My advice is to uninstall it, wipe out everything in c:\programdata\Stardock (hidden folder), yank out your network cable so you're off the Internet, and try again. How do you think SC2 manages to alt-tab perfectly well while older, less resource intensive applications cannot? A roll of the dice? Hmm, let me think ... could it be perhaps that different coders all use different code to do things? Nah, evidently there is only one true code, and SC2 is the one that does it.
</p
However, one thing I think that should be high in priority for Stardock is to make sure Reactor chatting can work with a program like Raptr. One fair criticism of GFWL is that once you close your game, you can't talk with anyone. I think integrating it with another chat program would serve Reactor's interests best. I would love that. Most every "in-game" chat system doesn't expose the chat API, so 3rd party chat software cannot interface

As with any impromptu response to an unexpected event, things are already not going according to plan, so estimates are frequently going to be wrong. *shrug* Doesn't that still

If I could get away with it, I'd have bonuses provide exponential bonuses. The idea is for improvements and such to provide a bigger bang. When you say +25%, you mean this: Y = X + X*0.25 That is, take 25% of X and add it. If you get another 25% bonus, you
Why are people reviewing a version of the game *before the game's actual release date*? Seems like an awful load of assumptions that are being made in that review, and the reviewer is not being upfront about them. So what about cumulative percentages rather than CivIV's way of doing things which is +20% + 20% equals +40%? If you want to be picky, then CivIV's way of doing percentages is non-standard, *not* Elemental's. <br
If you ordered a boxed copy from Stardock, your account should get credited with the digital copy on the 24th. So yes, you should be able to download and play using Impulse before your disk gets there. If you ordered from say Amazon, then no. You'll need to wait for the disk to arrive in order to register the serial number.
Technically, you can. But if your sovereign dies and you don't have a city, it's game over. So you probably want to have a city, even if your research and attention are focused on adventuring. :)
