Humanoid monsters I'd be fine with, but wolves and what not, should not be able to carry coin at all. wolves and what not are not "carrying" coin, rather you are given an amount of gold equal to the value of their hides. the creature descriptions occasionally describe this... edit: i think it is really funny

If you are shooting for multi sectional Dungeons, I would approve.. However you should only be able to take champions and summoned creatures inside, no army or 'Units'.
Not all monster types should carry coin. Humanoid monsters I'd be fine with, but wolves and what not, should not be able to carry coin at all. Now in the early campaign there's a spider lair. If Monsters of all sorts had lairs from which they spawned, then I would suggest no monsters should have coin on them unless your Sov or army is assaulting a lair.
The scripting should be possible to make same sex marriages that would produce no children.. But otherwise yes its been reported before.
They need to hire professional document writers for the future cuz lack of basic game play knowledge sucks.
There's learning curve then there oversight.. This falls into oversight as choosing where to build a city or what resources to bother developing is a major tactical componant. Having the 'Rule' vague and confusing takes away from the other aspects of the game.
I like the game, I enjoy the game even as.. diminished, as it is. The trouble I'm having is all the little details not explained.. Primarily, building territory improvements. I thought building a city would apply a link to all developed resources within 5 tiles of the center city tile. So far this has not always proven to be accurate. Like certain improvements will link at farther than 5 tiles (Libraries), other will not link unless apparently physically attached to a city (Scenic Views)..</p

Minor factions will focus on building one kick-arse metropolis but they won't expand. [/quote] Do not forget to have them manage their economies and defenses well. They may not wish to really expand buy they should stop being pushovers. Deploy defenses, make better troops for as much as your economy will allow. Seek trade t

Yes let us NOT go into developing the worlds worst leaders into the microcosm of Elemental factors.. please..
I agree that there needs to be some distinction on resources that can not be utilized by a city, either visual detail or unable to build unless a link is possible.
start a new game for further testing.
So it is a static single tile, that does not expand, 5 tiles from the single tile that is the city foundation?

and what if anythign affects this? I found an old bug thread on issues like what I'm seeing.. Resources within ZoC, but not identified with any city, and nothing seems to modify this by building closer to the tile or growing the city. It would appear static to the center point of where the city is founded. Where can I find other info or is this a bug resurrected or what? https://forums.elementalgame.com/389196
If the game is going to save designs from other games or what not, there needs to be a better design management UI all together.

Grateful they checked out as I'd hate for a patch that would regress to worse than where things stand today. I can start games and play to 200-300 or so turns then have to start a new game... as sad as it sounds its still entertaining... just not as entertaining as actually finishing one off. Even if you could play
ya thats the super power monsters, there will be a fix for that i hope tonight..
i only use my sov, the spouse or child for quests..
patching tonight so wait and see..
if they live long enough to level their pool gets bigger
given recent events and statements I'd say Elemental is half as good as its supposed to be. I am having to wait till late fall for the est of the game knowing ill have to start new games with every update.. The game has potential, but lacks depth and stability. these are what I expect to change a lot by then.
It makes no difference as should the official patch incorporate the 1.7 fixes then it will just be redundant not conflicting. However I would almost certainly expect to have to start new games... again...
