The new BSG had a great compromise when it comes to space sound. It did have sound but everything was muffled and low-key. Made for a great atmosphere.
Can someone say of this new film is a bit more...I dunno..."mature"? If the characters/story are more compelling. I'm obviously a ST fan but I do have common sense and went to see the 2009 movie expecting nothing more than a cool sci-fi action flick with the Star Trek label stuck on it as a formality. And I was still disappointed. Plot was senseless (not that most other ST films are much better in this regard), characters were bland, Kirk was a generic "action hero"
Quoting Trojasmic, reply 34Now make Potential 1 = 25% exp bonus. That would make it a no-brainer. You'd have to pick it always. Throw it away or keep it useful for main heroes only.
Indeed, it should be a bonus for someone specifically specializing in exp gain, not a one hit wonder you always take. Wouldn't mind seeing potential completely gone though.
The problem seems to be that you can hardly afford to field an army of every individual hero. While, with enough time, FELH can become almost broken with practically infinite gildar and other resources much of the early and even mid game one seems to be running on fumes money-wise with unrest making the effect of many gildar producing buildings almost marginal. I believe I've seen LPs where a player has 5-6 cities but can barely afford a single full army group. Th
Good luck in your endeavors Mrs. Elf.
I really don't like these traits that depend on the number of units, they tend to either go, pretty much, without saying or be useless for the majority of the game.
Yeah, it's just an inferior version of LH "Highlights".
Without commenting on the specifics, I'll say that I'm firmly in favor of less, more powerful traits.
I really hate exp enhancing traits/perks/feats in general. They are either useless noob traps or mandatory free power that makes early leveling boring. Would hope to see them completely removed (except as starting factions traits and such).
I can totally live without any steampunk nonsense in my fantasy games thank you very much

See different strokes for different folks..personally I wretch at the inclusion of elves in fantasy but I'm excited about Aow3 specifically because of the steam punk and religious elements. What bugs me is this video..its all concept and no gameplay. cosplay videos to advertise video games
Oh my goddess I'm all giddy. AoW did so many things right and in such an elegantly simple way. Different races, sieges, ships, a steampunk-like faction (from what I see), beautiful map, gaaaaawd! :D
I like what I see.
It doesn't take long. Just make sure, that you have at least 15 Iron.
Thanks again. And the other group of Lurks is right where they were supposed to be, I was just being an idiot.
1. There are two groups of Lurks. Each has one part of the key. If you killed both groups and only got one piece, then it is a bug.
Ok, I'll try looking around some more. I was worried that random-ish indie monster behaviour joined them all into the same group.
The search for the pieces is part the main quest.
It helps to know that actually, I hate wond
Maybe this belongs in the support section, I'm not sure, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Anyway. #1 The Key of Allard. I've found and killed the two demons but they were both in the same army group. So now I only have one half of the key (presumably, nothing shows in my heroes' inventory) and there are no other demons on the map (that I can find). So is the quest broken now or am I missing something? #2 Ku'o Sian. Ok, I hate t

I still have doubts. If Brad hasn't been able to get a proper job all these years how can I trust him to lead this game to greatness? And what if everyone else at Stardock is a jobless hippie as well? I mean I'm getting a strong Jefferson Airplane vibe from this game.
Ok, my point is the same.
Well, the benefits with the system is pretty obvious. It's called strategical choice. Do you go for better weapons and armory first, or do you go for huger squads (meaning more hitpoints and more concentrated arms power), or perhaps I want to fit more heroes and units into an army (Having 5 instead of 4 units in an army of course can mean a great deal too)?
I'm not agai
Great news Stardock, thanks for listening.
This can get absurd with enchantments and some of the high end buildings and a 9-man group can easily hop out the door with more than 200 hitpoints.
The whole differing group sizes thing should've been axed imo. It just complicates balance so much. One group size for the entire game would work just fine and everything could be more easily balanced
I remember back when WoM was first announced FB was talking about a single dragon laying waste to hundreds of troops and I read with glee imagining a kind of fantasy Total War game with turn based battles and civ-like campaign management, it felt like a dream come true. Over the years the game seems to have gone from one extreme to another. While I understand that the initial concept was likely unrealistic in its intention it's disappointing how far in the other directio
So there is nothing wrong with super sovs... in fact its the main theme of the game. This is like skyrim only instead of smiting to get the best gear in the game you use TBS aspects to get +mana and buying items and upgrading your city shops. And frankly it would be greatly more enjoyable if it stops being so damn coy about what it is and starts properly fleshing out the RPG side of things which is currently way underdeveloped and lacking in polish compa
1) Kneejerk was just Fallen Enchantress, especially as you're discontinuing WOM . . .but I really think it needs a primary title (Elemental or otherwise). If I said to someone "Hey, heard of Fallen Enchantress?" it doesn't sound like a 4x. It sounds like a game mostly about a Fallen Enchantress. Or more specifically like a JRPG title. I'd think of a game like Racettetear if I just heard Fallen Enchantress witho
