speaking of which, would you guys be willing to give up the rotating camera in LH in exchange for a massive boost in performance and visual quality?
Heck yes.

Looking forward to learning more about the new game. Elemental's customization, while great on paper, worked against it in many ways so I'll be happy to see it gone. Not because customization is always bad or can't be "done right" but simply because I want to see what SD can do with a more tightly designed game. I just hope that "designing around OP-ness" doesn't end up being an annoying gimmick.
not so excited about the steampunk additions. I don't remember steampunk in shadow magic.
You don't remember steam tanks, pistols, flame/frost throwers, canons, air galleys, drills, muskets (in AoW1)...? It's also a part of the lore now since the "Commonwealth" is going through an industrial revolution.
You've spent enough time on Elemental games imo. Time to look to the future. Unless you want to add the dynasty system to LH or something.
This is the first dlc that feels like it's worthwhile.
From what I see Steam cards are another empty, no value item (just like achievements) that is supposed to drive compulsive people to buy more games as gamers are notorious for their "gotta catch 'em all" mentality. The whole thing is quite idiotic which means it's going to be a huge success. Well played Steam, well played.
Yeah, the coal stones spell is pretty "out there". It's better than fireball, hits everything, no "aiming" required, no casting time, and those shamans just happen to have very high initiative to boot. Very deceptively strong considering wildlings are otherwise just slightly buffed darklings. It's not that bad and it's not the worst you can encounter, it's just that it's a "noob trap" and if you don't know about it it catches yo
Had no idea they were one-handed, funny. Mounted x-bowmen might be neat as additional movement would allow them to line up shots more easily. But yeah, they don't seem that great.
Also when it comes to dens you don't always want to clear them. Leaving lairs unlooted so they can spawn more xp...err monsters is fairly common. Definitely wouldn't want lairs to get auto-looted after a battle.
Not as OP as a summoner with Procipinee's crown imo. :p
Yeah, I got 3 stone maces my last game.
Yeah, I was afraid this might be the case. Thanks HF.
Hi. I'd like to change a custom faction's terrain type to winter. There was a mod for FE that did this by changing the * value (4 for winter) but LH seems to only recognize 1 (empire/purple) and 2 (kingdom/grassy). Other values seem to leave the terrain unchanged or default back to grass. Any ideas? Also, how do I delet
Heh, never noticed. Continuum's a great show btw. Edit: Ha, figured it out. Ironclad are Canadian and the show originates from guess which country.
Liked both films as well as that animated thing so I'm kinda looking forward to this one.
Wow, this is actually happening? B7's one of the most original and intriguing sci-fi shows I've ever seen. Syfy doesn't exactly inspire me with confidence though.
No idea if maul is op but my cavebear is my strongest unit by far.
Can someone say of this new film is a bit more...I dunno..."mature"? If the characters/story are more compelling. I'm obviously a ST fan but I do have common sense and went to see the 2009 movie expecting nothing more than a cool sci-fi action flick with the Star Trek label stuck on it as a formality. And I was still disappointed. Plot was senseless (not that most other ST films are much better in this reg
Well, flaming hands is much better now provided your opponents line up for a roastin'. :P
I understand, I just meant that it's unintuitive conceptually and communicated it via a derpy "joke".
Yeah, I thought they were in the same category. It's a bit weird how light plate replaces mail while the masterwork mail replaces plate. It confuses my wittve mind. :P
This can't be right, can it?
https://forums.elementalgame.com/444571
Oh, I knew about that. I thought there was a specific list just for "latest beta -> 1.0". Thanks anyway.
You need to get the key from the SD store and then activate LH on Steam.
Yeah, whatever one may think of FE and LH, Stardock did go beyond the call of duty to make it up to Elemental pre-orders and compared to some other botched releases Elemental wasn't even that bad, the game worked at least unlike some others. Generosity is for those who can afford it they say but it's still a praise-worthy gesture.
