The first option under the General section of Basic Options is "auto login." I'd make sure that isn't checked otherwise it'll try to log you into SD's servers.
There's nothing to verify. An Ignys moved two tiles to attack one of my heroes. My faction has stealth. Either that's a bug in the trait or an unclear description on the stealth trait. I've played about half of my games in beta with Master Scouts (before they split it up) and never once had a monster "wander into me." That may be exactly what happened, but if that's possible the trait description should be cleaned up. It wasn't
Just had a lone Ignys attack one of my heroes despite my faction having the stealth trait.
As mentioned before on the forums, there's no real reason to use Lady Porcupine.
Which proves nothing. It certainly doesn't prove that negative traits are inherently bad. Just because people don't like to play Pariden doesn't mean that negative traits in and of themselves are the cause. Your conclusion doesn't follow from your premise. People not liking to
Also the fact that only some races/factions or whatever get negative abilities but not others is dumb as hell.
Not if their counter-balancing positive traits are sufficiently strong. The faction's abilities have to be considered as a whole, otherwise why have negative faction traits at all.
There is no line of sight in tactical battles. Love it or hate it, it's not changing prior to release.
It's an entirely single player game. Either something is game breaking or not. "Overpowered" is nonsense. This isn't SC2.
So in the image below my hero is one square removed from Yithril's land. I click that closest square so my hero will move there (because she has plenty of movement to reach it). Instead she leaves Krax territory and walks all the way around to get to the square, using up all available move in the process. There are plenty of other times, not pictured below, when I click on a space in the explored fog of war and my unit takes some random path that is many times l
Sweet. I have more free time to kill various weird aliens. Looking forward to the update.
Nice feedback. I think it's a great help to hear feedback from people who haven't been in the beta process for the better part of a year.
Great great game with some minor and annoying UI problems. Buildings don't go wireframe vs. staying solid consistently, for example, which can make it challenging to move your guys around. I'm loving it.
Quoting Lord Reliant, reply 175I've seen a lot of posts about it, but seeing how you do it would be helpful. Its no mystery. Earth 2, Life 1, Armorer, Might, Hearty (Is it called hearty? The +hp/lvl and immune to poison one), Cruel. Rusty short sword. Cast stoneskin and regen. Look for mites, ruffians, wolves, lone darklings, rock spiderlings, and any goodie huts. As you pick up levels, prioritize adventurer's boon, potent
Yes to both. Doesn't make this any less of an issue especially since visually it looks like I should have no reason to NOT be able to click on the space in question.
I can not find any way to select the unrecruited hero in the image below. Everything I try selects the dragon. It doesn't matter where the cursor is, I can not select the hero to recruit him.
Sheesh. Thanks a lot. Since *I* am the one who gets the blame when something goes wrong, why would I want a buggy game?
Because you're an evil capitalist. Duh.
So I don't think you're going for the Avatar look....
I have been thinking about this a lot actually, and really hope they put the 3 traits into 2 traits that combined give +4 initiative and immune to prone, alone the first should give +2 initiative, the second should just give +2 initiative and immune to prone (Ok that is basically AXING "Quick" and keeping "Fast" and whatever the 3rd ones named). Thats my opinion anyways. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I s
On the positive side I like that it may turn some big city battles into multi-turn affairs. City heals, rushes production, sneaks in reinforcements between attack waves. Could be cool.
I love this part of time limits.
The underlying problem here is that the UI needs to do a better job of letting you know what traits a particular choice opens up. Quickness wouldn't look at all underwhelming if the tooltip told you that it potentially gave you access to Fast and Graceful. But to the average or beginning player they have no idea.
Dear god please skip to FE. They're completely different in terms of mechanics. And pretty much everything else.
I have this same feeling for the game. I like to play after each new release, just to see whats new, but then it doesn't have that replay fun factor for me. I thought maybe it was just balance, and maybe it is, but I think you have a point. Why do I want to build more cities and troops? I can just smash everything with my heroes. I like the idea of wildlands, but do they help the game progress? no. By t
Again. This is a special building, which should be built?
No, the city hub is the center tile that is created when you first found your city. It upgrades automatically when you level your city.
Personally, I'm content posting my bugs one at a time and assuming the devs are competent enough to have read them. I'd rather they spend their time killing bugs than making nice little lists of them.
Brad said in another post there would be two more major public releases. Who knows if that will be enough? I guess we'll find out. We're all just speculating right now. I know I've been impressed with the strides taken every release. Just when I think they'll never get there, they get a little bit closer!
He said AT LEAST two more beta releases. [quote
