There is just so much awesome in this post. Looking forward to playing it.

Funny, most places it's the other way around. Business people rushing the developers to hurry up and finish so they can get it out the door. It's interesting that it's the opposite here. Sounds like you folks need to hire some more business people. Edit: I never answered the question. Release it whenever makes the most sense. I'm playing it now and having fun with it. /shrug
The War of Magic stumble may have been the best thing to ever happen to Stardock Games. You guys are killing it the last few years. Really impressed. Ashes looks like the first RTS I'll buy in a long while.
The SK is the good guy because the SK won and history is written by the victors.
Uh... I don't see the game in my library even though I added my key to steam...
Did you try completely closing steam and reopening it? It should be there. I just got done playing for 15 minutes, so it definitely works.
Keys are available in your account on stardock.com. I have the game installing now through Steam. Figured I'd post it since I haven't seen an announcement or email yet.
Anyone not using Google Authenticator at this point is taking a massive, unnecessary risk. It's trivially easy to use and, even better, it integrates with other login systems. I use it for all my Gmail accounts as well as my LastPass account and several others I'm not remembering right now. You have to put in a six digit random code off your phone the first time you log into your account on a new computer. That's it. You can check a little box that re

I don't shove my politics into our products. I just want the people who play our games to enjoy themselves.
This is the answer everywhere. When writing about sports, sports writers should stick to sports. The same goes for gaming media or movie cri

I put my son's nickname in GC3 as a star. Someday in the future my recently arrived daughter will ask why her nickname never made it into a video game. Clearly I showed favoritism towards my son. Any chance you'll save me from that and have a name that ___ for this? Really, I didn't have any good questions yet.
I'm in.
Quoting Heavenfall, reply 10 Yes, how could we ever compare the third Elemental game to Age of Wonders III, also the third game in a series? Totally unfair! Expansions are not the same thing as entirely new games in a series using entirely new engines built by largely new teams. Its an apples to oranges comparison. The Elemental series has received 2 major expansions plus a bunch of patches. A
It's not just this one DLC, the overall enthusiasm has shifted to a noticeable downward trend since the Dead DLC. For the first two DLC's, the general attitude was "this isn't everything I was hoping for, but I want to supprt SD" Then after the loot pack DLC, fewer people expressed that sentiment, and started seriously questioning the value they were receiving, and a few decided to take a wait and
Never has a franchise alienated a customer base so intensely.
Seriously? People may be unhappy with this particular DLC offering, but let's get some perspective, shall we. This statement is ludicrous.
Saw it. It was great. It really sets up the rest of MCU Phase 2. My only complaint is that I thought it could have been even better than it was. As far as trailers go, this is the first movie that I've ever seen where I really felt like the trailers gave away the movie completely. I guess practically everything about it based on the one 2:30 trailer I saw. That entire elevator scene from the trailers can be seen coming 10 minutes away. Totally r

Any linux. I even can teach linux. But they still refuse, cause it's just so frightening - the learning curve that is. You know what you need to know to run linux? How to use a search engine(yeah, googling). Solutions around free operating system as linux are MUCH more frequent th
Politicians talk about carbon tax this, subsidize that ... it takes too long and is too inefficient. They should just ban coal-fired power plants altogether. It's so simple, but they make it so complicated... too much talk, way too much. Honestly ... how many decades can people discuss something like this ... as if we have a choice in this matter. Even if someone doesn't believe in GW, th
Is this another attempt to get us to pay you to read our responses to your economic ramblings? I'm not falling for that trick again. Nothing to see here.
The problem with telling you books where the bad guys win is that, unless the bad guy is also the protagonist, you're ruining the ending of the book. I can think of several books I'd list to answer this question. The problem is that as soon as I tell you them I've ruined the book's punch.
Then some of you asked what can do if everything will kill off our economy and ect. I would reply back that you have been deliberate mislead. Our so called "economy" would best be described as a "wastetonomy", but that is a whole different subject. The truth is that we already have the solution to our green house problem that will allow us to keep our standard of living. To discuss the solution I would invite you to head over to this
