Still hoping to see hostile barbarian cities ripe for conquering in addition the neutrals, bandit forts, and lairs here. *keeping fingers crossed*

Why do we even bother with using city levels anymore?
I'd like to add Betrayal at Antara for notable mention solely for the game environment's side quests and substories. Other than that the game was very unpolished among other problems like the main story itself. A note of good writing is when you can pull off good entertainment using only the little things.
Don't be too surprised that Saudi Arabia has responded to Bahrain's call for military intervention. When nations are facing considerable violent upheaval they often resort to importing foreign military assets, usually mercenaries.
Only revolution in the world to be sparked by Google Earth. http://www.businessinsider.com/bahrain-google-earth-2011-3#-1 Citizens live in dirt poverty under the country's constitution which prevents anyone from owning private property, however the elite do (illegally) own private property and it certainly is billionaire property according to Google Earth. Another problem is Bahrain is really going a
Still waiting to see a more plausible Xcom game that gives rational reasons why the aliens aren't invincible. Apocalypse touched this by claiming the aliens were from another dimension and couldn't survive in ours, yet.
BoobzTwo, there seems to be some confusion on De Beers so I will attempt to clarify. It's actually a bit complicated and I'm just too lazy today to go into detail. No, When I say blood diamond industry I'm not talking about the super valuable red rock you saw in the movie that everyone was fighting over, jokes aside. De Beers themselves have put out a number of publications about the blood diamond industry and why De Beers is an absolute global necessity to pro
Technically Google can be taken down as the search engine falls under the legislated guidelines.
Sorry for the derail it's just that every time I hear about how money gets dumped left and right for some project it can bug me. I saw that video this morning and then reading about the national cybersecurity plan (googled for more info afterward) well I went into rant and vented. It was an outburst, I apologize.
The older I get the more I lose hope of change when it comes to government. We could go completely bankrupt and they will still finance junk like this. By now I've reached the point where I'm cynical or suspicious of almost any plan requiring mass appropriations of money to be wasted.
Notice in the Youtube video on ENABLING WebGL (the opposite of what we want) they only alter the webgl.force-enabled and don't touch the webgl.disabled option.
Boogie, what if E:WoM had the kickstarter investment? Depending on the funding, would it have made a noticeable difference to save the day or would it have only resulted in braking the thermometer for everybody? Can you imagine the potential uproar? Yes it is probably safe to say this is most definitely a blazing hot issue. A similar situation is Blizzard being subsidized by S. Korea for Starcraft 2. "Well what am I
@DsRaider: May want to edit that OP. You forgot one more very important difference between the two designs. Civ5 uses a global policy system to augment cities based on combined accumulated city culture points (tradition, liberty, honor, piety, patronage, commerce, freedom, rationalism, order, autocracy) while EWOM uses an individual city level up upgrade system (magic, tech, money, super unit) to shape the nation. EWOM has a simple open ended approach while Civ5 is m
If you reinstall the game make sure you clean out the additional data located under \users as saved data may carry over to a reinstalled game that could potentially cause problems.
Were any settings reset when you applied the patch? Specifically the outlines option under video settings. Definitely want that set to off.
Glad to hear the old outdated speed/combat mechanic is being addressed. That imbalance has been a long lingering problem since Galactic Civilizations. Thank you Derek for correcting this. *Edit: I am assuming it was Derek as he did the interview.
WOM already has some built in equalizers, they just were not implemented very well. The Dynasty system combined with the surrender mechanic (if you get very lucky) can make a small nation into a significantly larger one overnight. Also the experience based system for sovereigns, heroes and common soldiers provides reward for better micro by making them stronger quality to defeat superior quantity. Now if only we could get diplomatic acknowledgement from a fo
The big problem with tbs types is they always follow the same pattern of attacking the weakest opponent for expansion rather than the riskier decision of attacking your strongest opponent directly like a free for all game in Starcraft. Spending your day seeking out and beating up the next little guy gets very old real fast, that is unless you're the type of person who actually enjoys that kind of thing in real life. <span style="font-
Thank you for bringing this to the forum's attention DrJBHL. I had completely forgotten about this.
When people post opinions on games they should list what expansions and mods they are using if any at all.
I once used NEVERCOOKIE but it is not yet compatable with Firefox 4.
Understandably it is important that security is updated daily but redownloading every Ten days seems a bit acute. 30 days would perhaps be a bit more practical.
The Pope gave a speech a long time ago about how a primary source of Africa's problems originate externally from what he referred to as Special Interests. In the near future, African conflicts will intensify now that China and America have both eyed its strategic resources. I know this because I was in the military. If you desire to know more then Google AfriCom or African Command the newly US formed segment of the military command structure. The
@WhiteElk Ouch, that sounds like a situation I'm going through right now. Fortunately I was able to eliminate most of the damage. That story might be more befitting for this thread. https://forums.elementalgame.com/407718
The Short Review. Enjoy! Upsides, the Merlin/Arthur humor is funny and the characters are likable. Downsides, I have to say the first season is negative. It makes me question how competitive TV slots really are in the UK. The plot itself suffers at times from extremes to being borderline ridiculous. Late season, one second Morgana loves her father the king and the next shes is the mortal enemy secretly trying to kill him over a pett
