Speaking as an industry expert here, I have to agree with the Frogboy on this. 8D
I thought for a moment that you'll tell us about secret '8D' technology your company is working on;) I'm not in the 3D tv much. Thank you guys for stating plainly which is better. All I could find in the net were sponsored (this way or another) articles. As for 3D movies. I think it's a nice addition if the m

GalCiv 2 with Anno. Basically any 4X space game with city builder. With tea balance on building the colony/ies and world being deeper and darker, not just a huge battlefield.
About FE * every tile matters - will there be local resources like in civ? * Is there someone working at music and sound FX? WoM was (is) really poor in this part. Even comparing to much older games (thinking AOE and HOMM)
I'm waiting for "FE-Sounds and Music" diary...
Boo Hoo... There are lots and lots of threads about the state of the game... Why this one couldn't be just fun /or silly/ ?
Nice pics. One request - make it 10 items in the row. 8 is weird;D
UI looks neat. I think the champions need some graphics diversity Bacadea looks little 'plain'. Some interesting armor, weapon or even jewelery could make them feel... unique. Nah. I'm just a fan of GalCiv shipyard and I wish I could spend as much time in the FE sov/unit creator:D
I am affraid that I'm gonna spend 80% of time at the cloth map, so the fog (isn't it actually decreasing the FPS?) will be nice but seldom watched feature.

I'm a big fan of The Wither series. Reading the stories from 1986 till the end. Have TW2 collector's edition and still playing the game (not every day so I can enjoy it longer:)) but I have to say the first part was better. TW2 is a strange mix of * resident evil linear slashing * free city door to door roaming * free outdoor adventuring. The good * graphics - excellent, great, awesome, you name it. I guess it
Wow. Right out of the gate, the Main Menu is borked. Screenshot: http://www.crawspace.com/ss/errors/elemental_exit.jpg Anyone else getting this? EDIT: Also happens with the Load Game dialog. ATI HD 4870.
That happend to me quite a number of times. I was trying to figure it out but with no luck. Usually the reinstall helps.
Roman numerals. Definitely. 1.19 MMXI.
SHIFT 2, F1 2010 last weekend and I even started Elemental game... but after about 50-100 turns I just got 'meh' feeling and quit.
I don't know GameStop but I'm looking at current Impulse featured titles: SHIFT2 - US&C, DARKSPORE - US&C, SIMS-MED - US&C (!) What The Gnome it's all about? I just hope it's just sad sad EA with their sad sad different release dates in different regions (and sad sad EA STORE with sad sad localized versions). It's sad. Apart of it I don't see any changes in Impulse - good or bad.
Great artwork!
Caravans. For example. I shouldn't have to go through every town to find out, which caravan just got destroyed. Hero equipment and the shop. That doesn't have to be explained, does it? No order in which multiple pop-ups appear. Ie. A battle starts, whoops, diplomacy screen in my face, whoops, research screen in my face, let's chose a research option, ups, can't, first have to do the battle... it's maddening
Well maybe you can do some 'Elemental Bestiary' with monster art, 3d model, descriptions of skills and habitat. Just like ol' good D&D monster book. I know it's time consuming for artists and 'lore-makers' but it gives quite a bit of immersion.
Does it include spell to summon such one on your side?
Yes. It's lvl 1 summon spell 'Green Beartree'. Costs 50 mana to cast and 1 to sustain. Sovs with the 'Druid' ability will get it as a pet on the game start.
Excuse me but 'Entirely New Ways To Die' sounds cheap. I hope it's just the subtitle for that movie. Not for the whole game. Will there be more sound FX in E:FE? Like not hearing spiders' agony scream sounding like dying boar again and again. EDIT: What are the plans for beta testing? Will the beta be available just like the betas of E:WoM (hope).
ability to start a campaign in CK, export it to Europa Universalis II, export that to Victoria, and then export that to Hearts of Iron. Imagine playing from 1066 to 1950. Crazy
I was never a fan of EU titles but this feature is just amazing (if it works as you described). Extending life of the older titles and the whole experience.
Congratz!
SimCity4+Rush Hours - The classic. Thousands of mods. Possibility to play in HD resolution. Lots of fun with first cities. Later it gets boring. Especially if in the same region. Massive demand makes the game too easy. Bunch of unique landmarks/reward. Clear isometric view. Unfortunatelly lots of mod means unstability and lack of autosave option is sometime the reason of losing few hours of building. CityLife 2008 - SimCity with 6 culture groups. 3D with some camera limitations.
New ideas: * Elemental resistances: - dividing resistance for every 4 elements. It would add some surprise and variety - harder to kill army of yetis with bizzard. * 3 kinds of damage/defence - thrust, slash and blunt. That may give the solution to "perfect weapon/perfect armor" problem. What use of a spearmen army when skeletons have lots of thrust defence? Few soldiers with hammers would be much useful.
