I can't deny that it would be sweet if there actually were an afterlife of eternal burning fire for some of these arseholes. Bu
sex and gender might as well be used interchangably ... but yea, using "your" definition, "sex change" should probably be called gender change. Cause unless you lose the sex organs ur really just a transvestite (another misnomer, people getting transgender and transvestite switched up ... even if you have the hormones to add/remove boobs, its still transvestite unless there is an alteration to the primary sex organs) By my definition, yo
Oooook ... so then modern operations should be called "gender changes" ... cause if a guy had an actual (by your definition) "sex change" then 'She' would be able to get pregnant and bear children.
Well, it's not actually "by my definition", it's a commonly accepted definition. World Health Organization defines gender as: "the socially constructed roles, behaviors, activities, and attributes that a given society considers appr

It is very fortunate that people's personal wealth has no bearing on whether they are charged with crimes or not. Justice is blind. In this world, you can't just hire a team of expensive lawyers to shield you from the full force of the law, whether you are stealing billions in taxpayer money or going on pedophilic excursions overseas... ...oh wait, I'm sorry, it seems I got my realities confused again. My bad.

If I was a millionaire who owned my own game company I'd stock the place slap full of hot chicks too, if just for eye candy if not anything else lol.
The Hugh Hefner of game design?
if gender and sex aren't the same thing .... then damn, wtf
Uh... technically, they aren't. Sex is biological. Gender is a social construction. Then again, I'm just an unemployed sociologist.

Well, I've grown out of my "HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT POKEMON" phase of my life, so I'll be curious to see how this goes.

One thing I like to point out to people who have never played the game is that it looks much better than how the screenshots are. The game really is quite beautiful... still needs work though.
Does the game have a wall-based combat which greatly favors the defenders when trying to take a city like Age of Wonders or Total War series does? If no, introduction of it would alleviate this problem--as well as make city-taking generally more difficult, complex, and fun.
As of right now, units get a "hitpoint" bonus when in fortifications. I hope this changes.
Sounds great, a bit like I thought Elemental would be like, and perhaps should have been. Although we can't tell for sure untill release obviously. I'm just wondering if part of the reason the battles have been scaled down is due to engine and hardware limitations. If so, it would be hard to scale them back up.
Yeah, that's precisely why didn't make a big promise. Still, even if there are hardcoded limitations there might

Could this whole "gay marriage" screenshot have been any more blown out of proportion? Now, personally, I think it's funny. I'm just imagining two royal families, rubbing their chins wondering how to solidify their alliance with only two sons... LIGHTBULB! Sigh. I don't honestly think this will make it into the final game. Even if it did, I wouldn't care, not just because all my Sim families are in fact lesbian sorority houses. It's not as if it isn't a quick fix, at any rate. <p
Heathen. Do you see the arrongance in your words? "Priedeth come before a fall", the ancient gods say. You confess strength, trying to incite fear with words. But I can hear the uncertainty through the void. Your evil holds no place in this realm. The Prophecy states your downfall, Dark One, and your words have sealed your fate. Prepare for Judgement. For Darkness cannot survive the Light.
FOOLISH MORTAL!

I am aesthetically displeased with cities too. I think much of the problem is a lack of real "form"... these cities don't have streets. They are essentially a bunch of buildings heaped together with no rhyme nor reason. Huge cities wouldn't bother me if... well, I guess since I've been playing with 9 opponents on an enormous map we all start out fairly close together. Still... it feels like the world sizes are small. I just kinda feel like you should have to really "travel yo

If by culture you mean border expansion, I totally agree with you. You should not be able to grab stuff on the other side of a mountain range. I'm not sure I like the idea of a monument that would work like a "Influence Starbase", but whatever. Hey, a good use for Prestige! I really think it's odd that prestige merely grows population right now. I'm big on revising the whole prestige mechanic.

You never know, Elemental might be the game that seriously launches Stardock into the Big Time and maybe in the future one of these maps or figurines might be worth big bucks. You never know.
