hmm, didn't really consider warcraft a dated game, but then again I didn't really like warcraft 3. If they went off of warcraft 1 the original and re-made that I would be go for that!
I just want someone else to make a direct sequel to Warcraft II that isn't a shameless set-up for World of Warcraft.

SOLAR BATTERY ENGINE? More like... ENGINES OF BATTERY! That's what I've nicknamed my arms. Geddit? See these biceps? These guns are for hurting folks! I'm not so good at magic. Nor at thinkin' which hurt my head pretty bad sometimes. But what I'm good at is giving a BEATING, which is the #1 entry on my "List of Things I Like About Myself". So yeah, cast your puny "life draining" magics. You better know how to drain my life faster than I choke the life outta you, 'cause you can

When Target doesn't call me back for a job interview, I know I'm screwed. I hate being unemployed, overqualified, way too honest on my applications. When I meet other morons with Jobs I have to wonder what the heck I'm doing wrong. One cannot survive on mowing lawns and doing sympathy work for friends for so long. Luckily, it has given me plenty of time to write. So when they pry my rotten corpse from my computer room, they might read my novel I've been working on for months. And then

Might I just say, the tile editor is amazing. It's so easy to use, it's like I'm making NWN maps again, except with more flexibility. And, here's the thing. If you wanted to, I'm pretty sure you can scale things bigger to make a really strong tile-based RPG without all that much effort. Just scale up the items. BOOM! Suddenly, you've got a wall with a sconce for your dungeon suitable for one-character per tile RPGs. It's incredible. I was a little concerned with how an Element
Wow nice work on the scenic view (I think its a scenic view), it looks awesome and reminds me of an HGTV show that was showing off some houses in Italy and to get to it they had to climb some long ass stairs and didnt have access to a vehicle, but it looked amazing.
Thanks. It's actually inspired by the Spanish town of Ronda, which is a cool place to visit if anyone ever goes there. [quote who="Satrhan" reply="14" id="27017

So here's a quick sample of what I'm doing now. I'm in the process of redesigning all the resource tiles. This particular one is the "wild game" resource. Everything is about 25% size, allowing bigger settlements on each tile. The downside will probably be higher processing costs, but once I get around to setting the visibility layers it should be much easier on your video card. Once I finish all the kingdom resources I'll upload it into the Elemental... thing.
I like your plan! Some thoughts: How about instead off prestige determining growth, have population growth caused by births (I guess that is what you intended), and have prestige determine where those new people will live. If for example you have two cities with free living space, one with 9 prestige and one with 1 prestige, out of every 100 people born 90 would go live in the first city, and 10 in the second. This would represent p

Too much effort even for a parody. I can't say I wouldn't play it for curiosity sake, but I'd much rather see a mod based on a good franchise. I'm not even against the vampire genre. I love True Blood. I love Let the Right One In (even though the American version coming out will be an utter steaming pile of crap that totally takes the edge out of the original). I have no idea why people latch onto the absolute worst garbage in this particular genre when there actually is good, solid s

Reply to Sim Elemental? in WOM Mods
Quoting Bill_Door, reply 2 The only sim that keeps me interested is Dwarf Fortress, and its scope is quite different than your average sim. Someone should remake Dwarf Fortress with Elemental. Now that's a version of Dwarf Fortress I'd like to play!!!
Oh wow... what a processor hog that would be. I think my PC would melt.

Appetite: Instantly kill (eat) a creature with X hitpoints or fewer. You gain half those hit points. Ambusher: Stationary and invisible in one tile. When an enemy unit enters the tile, they reveal themselves and attack. More suited towards "antlion" type enemies rather than thieves. Awe: Intelligent opponents cannot initiate attacks against a creature with Awe. They may only counterattack. There can be plenty of variations eff
Starcraft never had a commander unit. It always had lots of little units. The idea that your Sovereign is so powerful is something to consider. He CAN walk through just about any defense you can build very quickly early in the game. If this was Starcraft, you could also build lots of little units and stop the assault. In this scenario, you can only hold back your commander or somehow gate him to the

I can't deny that it would be sweet if there actually were an afterlife of eternal burning fire for some of these arseholes. But I doubt that's how it works. Who knows, Heaven could be chalked full of Catholic Priests. Maybe it's a big conspiracy and the Bible Code is actually where they edited out the 11th Commandment, Thou Shalt Violate Choir Boy's B
