I don't have idea of how you use stuff like " UnitStat_BG_IsInDesert" but still awesome! There is nothing I can think of that could fit that list. I'd suggest Aligment if FE actually used it.

I prefer random events based on prestige to recruit extra Champions. That said, a spell that summons a unique (per faction) Champion could be cool.
The heads comment was more directed to Stardock because I wish they had given pointy ears to all the Wraith heads. I just like my elves with pointy ears, the same that I like my vampires not sparkling when hit by sunlight. Bursting in flames? That's ok. Sparkling? No way! After testing in some games, magic books are actually too few. I need a lot more! Something that involves in some books mixing spells of different ranks, in other cases some "theme" and stuff
Maybe active quests go White Icon. Would be nice visual feedback. So... next week 0.80?
The current random techs are just nice options and not getting them doesn't cripple any playstyle you may favour. Warmongers can still be warmongers without the Masterwork techs. I think that it's one of the things that has been well done in the tech trees. I like the tech trees for the most part but I would prefer some minor tweaks on some. I'd like that eventually Stardock adds more faction meat to them but I understand their reasons, and just hope that FE earns the righ
Everdream I thought that I had lost this but as I found an old backup (note to self: you may want to keep backups in dropbox or something in the future), I have decided to continue it. There is no set of features planned for a "1.0 version" as I just want some basic factions (mostly done, it's a matter of sovereign/faction traits, some clothing options, default units tweaks and putting back the default tech tre

My family and I couldn't get into BSG re-imagined after having watched just about every original BSG episode during the Thanksgiving Day marathons on Sci-Fi years ago. Stargate Universe didn't work for us either, when it used the same style as BSG re-imagined, in contrast to SG-1 and Atlantis, which we loved.
Have you seen BSG 1980? You said bye bye to Impulse. What was the point of it to begin with? Wasn't it obvious that it would grow a lot if you did good things with it? Wouldn't it have been better to stick to Stardock games and those published by Stardock? If you don't really want to grow, it doesn't make sense to take on something as Impulse. But hey, hindsight for the win. Now we are back to a new Stardock application to download its applications/games. As long as DRM is not present, I don
2) The game provides no incentive to let them get injuries.
Why should it? Injuries are meant to be bad news (and alternative to perma death in WoM) and there should be nothing encouraging you to try to get some injuries.
" Imbuement has been removed from the game. I loved the flavor of it, but players didnt realize they could be casting spells with their champions. And it makes the champions less unique if the thing that distinguishes them most (their access to spells) is missed. It was a bit of complexity that could be dropped without losing any good gameplay. Most notably since all the champions can cast from the start when you find enemy champions in the wilds they start lobbing
We *explicitly* want tactical battles to be a quick and fun event. Derek has told me that anything that makes a tactical battle take more than 3 minutes to finish is a bad thing and I have come to agree with that. Which, it turns out, is how MOM was. MOM tactical battles were extremely fun but didn't involve anything complicated.
I don't want tactical battles to be Total War stuff and I liked MoM's so not so
For example, I suggested recently making it so that trained units, when defeated, returned to their origin city to be reconstituted rather than being to be retrained from scratch so that they could keep being upgraded and enhanced and gain experience -- sort of turn them into trained champion groups. And that the number of units you could maintain would be based on your Civilization's Logistic system (ala Fleet supply in Sins). But

I'm glad our community is welcoming enough that people feel comfortable posting these ideas. But it's not as if something like that is going to even be considered. Funny. After seeing that, I started a modded game to check some RaceType stuff I have been working on today and got this: [e digicons]^_^'[/e]
Hey, thanks! For testing dual wielding I was just changing the Defense/Shield part (and the hand_left). I added a block increasing Unit_Defense (while keeping the Attack for testing purposes) and it appears in the Shield slot of the Armor tab. :) The spider mount, I thought it would need no work as there is a Fallen Champion (Nosmina) that uses one as mount and looks fine. But I'll take a look to your mod. :)
Engineers building roads a la MoM? I would love that.
I'd like to start this with a "This is not a mod" (but involves modding so I thought this would be the correct subforum for it... that or off-topic). I didn't start this with the intention of finishing it but to mess with stuff as I didn't finish learning modding in WoM. So this is just me sharing with the universe (aka you can just look at the pics and ignore the text).
If it could filter by Sovereign's gender and also by faction when selecting the random name: Queen's Ward, Emperor's Ward, Empress' Ward. Steel Guard (defender type), Red Guard, Battle Maidens (spearwomen with armour and with or without horse/warg), Guard Maidens (defender type), Wasp Maidens (archers), Legionnaires (spearmen with leather armour).
Whilst I do agree that currently some champs are too good, even overpowered, what in comparison to what? The most boring units in TBS history.
I think that they are overpowered against a poor AI. If the AI was finished and/or we were playing multiplayer, I'd take more seriously the "Champions are totally overpowered".

I simply don't see them adding the whole Warhammer Fantasy system to the tactical battles. I don't see them adding the whole Sim City system to the city building aspect. I don't
