I'd say that this certainly isn't too much to ask for, and indeed should be incorporated into the main factions as well. Resoln's deathly, ghostly realm should look different from Kraxis' sandy plains or Magnar's volcanic lands. Tarth territory should look forested, and Pariden pastures should have a bluish hue, as if the magic of the realm pervades the very ground they walk.
That would help a lot in the factio

I'm sure that somewhere Frogboy said that the real enemies are the opposite factions and that "monsters" are "annoyances". Not that he cannot change his mind.
For my personal point of view, Elemental seems to not fit my taste of game at all even if master of magic is one of my favorite video game. Elemental has none of the elements that makes MOM addictive and that cannot be changed without changing the core game play. So this is why it's not appealing to me anymore, but other people might like. One of the reason why it does not hook me up is the pacing. The gameplay is so slooow. It takes 6 turns t

I took your Battleborn trait for testing, changing injuries prereq for other UnitStats and got the following: <

Next, Google Box, with lots of advertisement in it (hey, Google Box will be free*!!! Just need an account and give all your personal information away for free while they track all your activities so they can personalize the advertisement while making huge profits of it). What changed that before Big Brother** was bad but these days the Big BrotherS are good? :p * with many free games too!!! ** not that TV show thingy

Anyone willing to use the reveal map cheat can check the following? When I start a game on Normal or greater difficulty, all the enemy Sovereigns start as normal but as soon the second turn comes, all of them get a trait that gives 2 gildar (Merchant I, I think) and one Path trait (Defender or Assasin, for what I have seen). I saw this while working on my mod and thought that I may have caused it. But I have deleted my mod and even uninstalled and then reinstalled but it still
If Fallen Enchantress were (ever) to get multiplayer (after 1.0, expansion or "free patch"), would it be burden with Steamworks? It seems to me that same logic as in Rebellion should/could apply (R.I.P. Impulse Reactor, right?). O_o

I would love to see how exactly we're going to distinguish these races such that a casual player, just starting up the game, will instantly recognize that other races are significantly different. It's no easy task, because as was mentioned prior, we don't even have real-world civs to relate to. Just a bunch of humans. We can't even say that one race consists of blondes, anothe
I do think it is a part of the problem of why they don't feel like different factions. I think it's far more difficult to make factions seem different if they are thematically and visually nearly the same. Making them "feel" like different factions, starts with them actually being different. Looking different is a good place to start. Will adding different tech trees, abilities, etc help. Sure. But it&#3

What, you don't have fingers in your feet? :p But I agree with a different limitation than "Just 4 items" or what we had before (the champions resembled Mr. T).

Core Sovereigns are "hand made", which may include access to traits that custom Sovereigns may not use. Irane has Enduring because she has the proper Enduring in the XML. There seems to be a differentiation between Sovereigns and Factions. Intended? Bound to change? No idea.
Sounds like things are going in a good direction with the game. I do have one comment on the Champions however. With the change in EXP being devided between the Sovereign and any champiions he's stack with, I've found I know longer have any use for the champions except as guards for city's or to spirit rip for their talents. The reason for this being that if I have to decide between getting my sovereign leveled

What about some healing beyond Regeneration (Tac/Str) and Heal (Tac)? Give me a Heal of range 1 but that I can use in Strategic map! Factions could use (maybe as addition) some bonuses to research certain trees. Giving factions different techs, I still prefer faction unlocks (in the three trees). Why? Because having someone starting with Leatherworking and someone else with Mining has some impact of making them different yet in the long run, both factions are going to have Leatherworking AND Mining (and both will give the same benefits to both!). On the other hand, if one gets better learther armours than the rest

I love the new faction/Sov. screen and I know that this case I'm going to mention is only bound to happen on custom factions but I'd like if the Sov/faction data could be displaced a bit to the left so in the cases of "Lots of traits!!!", the scroll bar is not positioned over the Stats. It looks ugly. The "Choose Opponent" screen has similar probl
