Let me check... I see... bugs... stability issues... people at Stardock too busy dealing with them as to add new Quests... I don't see anything about a design a quest contest. I do see a design a guest contest though? [e digicons]o_O[/e]
2) I would like the ability to 'barter' in dynasties. IE have to give dowry for female heirs, based off power.
Yesterday I was asking to myself why do I have the money and diplomatic capital options shown in the Arranged Marriage screen if I cannot actually use them. Which meant not being able to bribe the silly Karavox to forget our differences (took his initial town in the first turns) and give me his daughter.<
What frustrated me was some of the things i suggested were missing or a problem in the beta were simply ignored and were only after release was there an attempt to rectify certain issues in the game. I know i'm not alone here. I even tried asking questions on the forum and messaged Brad but to no avail, he simply ignored me much to perhaps their own detriment.. So much for Stardock listening to the community..
Yep, you were the only one suggesti
Somebody remind me... what comes first? 1.2? or the Expansion?
1.2? I mean, when is supposed to be the expansion anyway? O_o
Diplomatic features... That doesn't include an improved dynasty system, right? :/ Hmmm... I would like to have the AI to try to trade with me, telling me what they want and what they offer. But that would suppose that the AI needs something and it's actually capable of noticing that I can help it. More of UI thing than diplomacy feature, I suppose, but this is something I have forgotten to mention for MONTHS*: add a button like in Gal Civ II that automatically adds the money n
Nah i never choose gold Either research or arcane ^^
With the latest changes, I pick some levels of Gildar (one for each city, maybe more depending on growth, treaties and such) and the rest Tech Research all the way, baby! Arcane Research is not needed for me and the units may be nice but I never find myself in a situation in which I need one of those badly.
Settle in starting point or close to it, depending of the fertile land tile and the shard positions (so I can get easy access to the fertile land and make my city grow toward the shard). Second city only becomes a priority once: -First city is safe and growing fine. -Another food tile is found and first city is safe (-A non food resource [mine or horses, I don't care about everything else at this point] is "near" me and there is an AI around too) Someti
I don't think this would make it in for 1.1 (we're past the implementation stage and into the bug fixing realm), but I agree that custom colors on your guys would make unit creation more fun AND informative as to easilly spotting certain designs from afar (I always like when artistic features have a gameplay rational as well). I'll bring it up to Derek! Thanks!
How many diamonds would cost me to cast a Resurrect Faction Crest Creator?
A Non Agression Pact that can be broken in any moment should give a penalty to your relations with any faction you and your enemy know. Everybody knows about "The bastard whose word means nothing" and stuff. :P The penalty should be based on how many seasons were still plus some minor random value.
So he can still level up while in a city (or not getting into battle himself) if his "minions" do stuff (battle). I like it (my Sovs are out there kicking ass though).
I know the world of Elemental is supposed to be ravaged by the cataclysm, but it seems there is never enough food
Because of that Cataclysm. XD You may be lucky and get 3 fertile lands near your startig point. Most probably you will have to look for it (sometimes far far away), deciding if you wait to build your cities only near those types of resources or if you create one near another type of resource. Sometimes the food resources a
Personally, I'd prefer to stablish with the AI for how long we want it to last. Not saying no to "spy/ninja/ranger" units doing "tricks" about it.
Wait 99 turns seasons since you signed it. :P
That really needs to change.
I must disagree. Now you must make a choice between buffing your Sovereign in stats/talents or sacrifice some points towards spellbooks. Edit: to clarify, I find strange to have those books only at the beginning and then have no trace of them in the world... but at least they offer some choices in the creation beyond talents/weaknesses.
I know but we can dream can't we?
Certainly. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
There are no mages, only channelers (Sovereigns included) more oriented to cast spells than others. But all of them end using the heaviest armour and most powerful weapon that the money can buy. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
it does is always perfectly formated
[e digicons][/e] Right now I was checking the XMLs of my mod and was thinking about going emo on the armor and "cosmetic" files and their non-indented lines and more lines. XD
Is there anyone exept fanboys on this forum? I cant explain the fact, that everyone here ignore the huge AI problem. AI is a critical fun factor here, and unfortunatly it cant be fixed fast. Come on Stardock, you know what you need to do.
Trolls like you? :P No one is ignoring the AI problem, which we all can agree that is a critical factor for a singleplayer game like this, and which right now is a work in progress as evidenced by Frogoby post
Your Development process seems to lack any real QA process and the reason now seems clear, testing is never done, because the software is never finished just keeps changing every 5 minutes. Maybe you should finish the software development before releasing a different version every other week. What's the point of releasing another half-baked version, if the software isn't finished yet? The AI was not fully implemented (not finished) in 1.0
A different pic for each different quest would be awesome (any "excuse" for more Elemental art is good). What I miss and recently discovered is that when you say no to a quest dialog that involved a fight (when you take the quest to fight the darklings but when you arrive there you go "diplomatic type"), you get some music but nothing else. It's not descriptive enough. I don't really know that I'm rejecting the quest instead of choosing an alternate path to complete the quest. And nei
I must say that for me, that sounds quite exciting. I cannot wait to try it out by myself. :) (and hopefully that lvl city 3 bug is something that can be fixed easily)
I used to read so many anti-Steam threads and it kinda made me a bit anti digital download too, but then I got Impulse for EWOM and Steam for Civ V and I pleasantly found they're not so evil after all!
They are not evil. :P And the anti-Steam threads are more about you buying your singleplayer game in a retail store and being forced to install from Steam, for example. Or "The Monopoly Menace". XD What is evil is that o
