Relic has that bug fixed for a time now as stated in their forums... just waiting for those GFWL guys to certificate it. Why cannot they try to do it in less than their standard 2 weeks for a case so serious as this? Ask GFWL. XD

They changed from 11 races to 4,
Why does people keep telling lies* about it? 11 races in vanillia DoW? Are you sure? Because I tought it took them like 3 expansion packs to get that number. Because how could be fair to compare a new released game with a previous game with its 3 expansion packs? Number of units? Well, Relic tried something different from DoW s

Come one, DatonKallandor, you cannot say that and simply don't give any evidence about any of those "blatant falsehoods". I'd like to know being a total ignorant about Steam stuff. Except that those guys can ban you and never tell you why according to their User Agreement, which I find offensive as a customer to say the least. In any case, it seems that future gaming is based on having an internet connection or you are rollaly screwed. I understand that it's the be

Well, then the problem is solved. Steam doesn't force you to be online. It did when it was in it's intial phase, but by now that's long gone.
Wrong part quoted?
And what double standard would that be? Both Steam and Impulse force customers to use the respective services by making them mandatory for certain in-house games. And some of them aren't favourable to Impulse, but for me that's an important point. Still, i wish we could ge

Biggest fear: to die before I can play it (seriously!). Biggest hope: the only game I'll play continuously for years, with some breaks here and there to distract myself with other worthy titles, without getting tired of it.

Dear Stardock, Forget about past published rpg games. No need to invent the wheel again but neither copy it. I get bored by most of the newest rpgs because all of them feel the same and seem more of a grind feast than anything else (not that I don't like grind feasts... withtin reason). Give me a complex story; deep background that makes me feel like a small part of something really big, make it feel as real as possible and alive; a game that really makes me question my

I'm more worried about Google's activities than if Steam can fall to the dark side. That said, diversity is good. The competition prevents monopoly (i'm supposing that it doesn't end in oligopoly), incentives new strategies and benefits greatly the customers. In this moment i would choose Impulse over Steam any day. And the future seems quite interesting. Yet, Steam isn't a bad thing and surely it's faaaaaar better than traditional DRM schemes. A pity DoWII uses it tough...

It's better to have them working on the game than distracted posting. That said, I would really like a true weekly update. Even if it's just to share with us how has been their week at the office.
