making the earth totally barren for several spaces is too much for me especially now with the painful unrest percentages for taking over a city... something's gotta give. either lower the unrest penalties or lower the effect on terrain that razing does.

I am never going to take this trait. 50% to double damage or critical damage is not worth 50% to damage myself. It should be something like: a ) 50% to do 8x damage to opponent / 50% normal damage to self b ) 50% to 6x damage to opponent / 50% to knock self prone c ) 50% to do 4x damage to opponent / 50% to do 0 damage

I still see the AI missing goodie huts/lairs and would like to see that fixed. I'm also seeing the AI freeze on a tile for 100+ turns (sometimes the whole game) and would like to see that fixed. And finally, still hoping for some UI help. Think Civ V. The stuff down the left side of the screen needs some serious work. Am I the only one that ever has more than 10 cities, armies, quests, etc.? It's hard to scroll, not very intuitive... a ) hig
I couldn't take their main city because it was full of mages but then for some reason they started to remove the mages from the city 1 or 2 at a time and I killed them one by one until the city was weak enough to take. They also still really failed to use champions to back up their troops.
This happened in my game too. Relias took my city and had 9 armies in it. Then he started popping them out 2 at a time for no r

Do you guys remember how the terrain would change over time in SMAC and some of the Civ versions. I think having forests and swamps that grow or deserts that expand would be cool.

Screenshot #1 is an excellent idea. I go crazy every time I have to pick a city upgrade and no nothing about the underlying city I'm trying to upgrade. I really hope they start doing some UI work ASAP.
City defense if getting better, but losing a city is so detrimental to a nation, it should be harder to do.
This really depends. If we're talking about worthless city spam by the AI then it should be easy to take them out. The best idea is to prevent the worthless AI city spam in the first place, but that's a different discussion. If we're talking about a megatropolis (<- new

Hi Brad, It seems we're getting a lot of repeat votes (same as last time). I know you're big on MetaCritic scores so why not create a poll that asks people to vote on what score the current game would get (i.e. 90). That might yield some more interesting results and you'd be able to quantitatively see if the game was getting better in public opinion with each beta release or not.

You still playing TOR?

Is this the bug I reported about some AI troops moving to some random tile in the game and then just staying there for the rest of the game and never moving from that spot?

Sounds like I'm in the minority here, but I don't like the idea of 1 tile cities in Elemental. I love 1 tile cities in Civilization, but this is Elemental. Let's be different! I like being able to place buildings. I like being able to see my cities on the main map changing and growing. I like that I have to build them in different configurations based on the terrain or strategy I choose to employ. If snaking is a problem, then I vote for the opt

Aha! Everybody laughed at me when I reported the Reprisal bug earlier. Now somebody else has encountered it so hopefully it will be taken more seriously. Thanks for restoring my good name seanw3. :-)

Dudes, he's joking about the 1 tile cities. They are not changing to 1 tile cities. April Fool's Day is still a week a way and you're already falling for it.

I hate taking over AI cities which were built on 3/3 or 2/2 tiles and have everything built on them. I'm fairly certain the AI is not playing by the same gold maintenance rules we are so tak
