I'm seeing lots of little things in .913 that weren't in the changelog. Nice! Things I'm starting to really like: a ) Hard AI is putting up a challenge b ) Monsters aren't taking over every one of my cities, but they're still dangerous c ) Item selection... it's getting harder and harder to choose what weapon/armor/item to pick d ) Loving the new quests e ) Hit point and leveling balance is near perfect <

I think .913 is a huge improvement in balance... for the first time, I find myself actually thinking about some of the choices. Here are some examples: + There's a quest that offers an Ignys Bow or 300g... tuf choice. I've chosen both depending on the game. + I actually took the Gambler's Strike trait for the first time... Love it when it strikes for 3x damage ... Hate it when it misses :-) + Designing an 11 ATK / 17 DEF Axe Guy (Backswing), 9 A

Since you haven't started researching anything until turn 2, you get zilch. It should store up for you.

monsters are attacking our cities a little too much... they need to tone that down just a tiny bit
