Here's the answer you're looking for. If a=b and b=c, then a=c.
Trojasmic

Think of "dodge" as invisibility or the ethereal nature of a wraith (ghost). Does that help? Almost all strategy games with ghosts make it very difficult to hit the ghost.
Think of it like this... water is refreshing and provides "relief" which is exactly what I feel when I stumble upon a shrill lair that is full of water shrills not earth, air, or fire shrills.
I always thought this was intended. You can't run past units once you've already engaged. I kinda like it.
hey sweaty, what about when you just want to reposition your guy one square and then cast a spell? you can't! i'm not trying to run past him, i'm just moving one square and he automatically attacks which doesn't allow me to cast the spell. here's another example.
Yes, I almost broke my mouse I was right-clicking so much.
It's a simple fix. Derek just needs to adds the master scout abilities (no movement penalty in forests and swamps) to flyers. If you can fly over mountains, then you can fly over forests and swamps.
Thanks Harmonious! I knew it had been reported by others besides me. Derek now has several forum users agreeing the bug exists and video proof from you. Derek, what game are you playing?
Sometimes you just want to reposition your unit and not attack or reposition and cast a spell, but they attack anyway. FIX IT!
FIX IT!
pretty please
There are aspects of the game that I would rate a perfect 10. There are other aspects that are not namely: Diplomacy (single-choice responses, influence trades for 100:1, breaks treaties early, etc.), UI (empire and event trees don't show enough info and cover up text, lack of pre-movement trails, etc.), AI (doesn't cast strategic spells, attacks with soloists and pioneers, buys too many greaves, retreats even when there's nothing left to do but fight), too many bugs (

I tried my old games 4 times before I figured that 1.1 must not be compatible with games from older versions. I've also crashed 4 more times trying to load new games. I haven't seen anyone else say anything though... so that makes me a bit afraid that it might just
I'm wondering if the separate phases for monsters and players is borked beyond just wildlands. I had it happen with some random monsters.
This can happen every time you load a saved game. It's the "everybody moves when you load a saved game bug" that I've reported so many times it's not even funny. It has fallen on deaf (or daft ears). FIX IT STARDOCK!
Ok I think I was misled by the fact that it is costing them 2 movement point to fly over forests and swamps. If they are flying, then it shouldn't cost them 2 movement points to fly over forests and swamps. FIX IT!
My demons are taking damage even though they are immune to poison.
What's up with that? Wings not fully developed yet or something?
I've had two offensive tactical spells cast against me. That's a good start. Still no strategic spells cast against me yet tho.
Good catch guys! I'm not using any mods. It's one bad tile in the stamp. I'll update the OP too. http://www.mediafire.com/?yt4kgzaorkckd38 <img class="e

mobs can't hit me.
It's possible the calculation is buggy, but here's another idea. It's possible that it's working as designed. It's possible that the 10% worth of research points that we get is not the same percentage that the AI gets. It's possible that Derek and Brad made a decision based on "FUN FACTOR" that the AI needs to have lots of research points so that the player can have fun when trading for those points. If the AI had the same low number of research
Can someone at Stardock please delete this thread? I don't want Derek to see it. GO BIG OR GO HOME! Everything in the game is overpowered. We get it.
These units do not have healing or spells nor do they have ranged attacks yet they are moving backwards away from me. Is that a morale thing (in other words, working as designed) or is that a bug (should they stay and fight especially since there's nothing left to do but fight)?
1. You made a great game. 2. You listen. 3. We ran most of the trolls off.
