Still the case in 1.01.
I'm currently playing Resoln and am at war with Pariden. Last turn, I conquered an Outpost in the north-west. It had a Fire Shrine in it's ZoC, which got destroyed when I ended the turn. Now, when I click on the Shard, my city of Blackstead gets selected instead. If I click again, the Shard gets selected, but I can't build a Resoln Fire Altar. Clicking on the 'Build'-button does nothing. Quitting the game and loading the save did not help. <a href="https://dl.dropb

It's also freeware.
It is NOT freeware. I think you are confusing it with 'abandonware' (which isn't a legal term anyhow), but even that isn't true, because MoM is being <a href="http://

Specifically I can only get this to work if I choose 3 magics in order down the line... death earth fire... in that order. That seems rather strange.
Thanks for the pointer, Parrot. I managed to narrow it further down. You only need to select Death/Life Apprentice, the rest of the points can be spent however you want. Now, go back to the Char

Nice work. I really envy your ability to play so fast. This is my last game:

No, it is not possible to raze them.

1. Yes, it does. 2. No, it does not.
Okay, that is odd. I never had any trouble winning by Spell of Making. In one game, I had done all but the last battle of the Master Quest, before going for the Spell after all. I suggest you upload the savegame, if you still have it, so the devs can take a look at it. There really is something fishy going on in your game.
There is a bug in 1.0 which prevents you from getting the Spellbooks-tech, if you don't have Enchanters too. This is fixed in 1.01. If you are interested, you can get the beta-version here .
Question: if i use the city-capture spell for 500 influence, will it convert the city and all its units permanently to me? They can move back in the city right after you end the turn, if you are at war with each other, and reconquer the city. So it would be b

The catapult was added like it's supposed to. You should probably upload the savegame and debug.err, if you still have it, so the devs can have a look at it.
That is definitely a bug. The catapult should have been added to the existing militia, not replacing it. What version are you playing?

This is another case of "it's a special ability, not a spell". Ophidians are immune against spells, but Beguile is a special ability. This isn't made properly clear, though, and should be rectified. There are a lot of special abilities, that, at first glance, could be considered spells. Despair and Coal Stones, for example.
